Sooner Lake Oklahoma Night Catfish Tournament. Nothing like pulling boards in the dark.
We fished Get-N-Hooked Catfish Tournament Last night. I had Divan Liddell with me as co-angler. Was a good night of fishing, but seemed like it went by fast. We came in 5th place out of 11 teams. Was my first time on Sooner since last year.

My goal is to have a tank that I can keep large Gizzard Shad alive for days and weeks at a time, plus Sand Bass, Crappie, Common Carp or any other large fish. I typically use 110 gallon tanks and they work fine, but I need to be able to keep a bigger amount of large baits. Let me know what you think about it. The wind was brutal, we had wind gust up to 40 mph sustained 25. Was not a fun day of fishing. We were not able to get much video of the weigh in, but this is a little portion of it. Frank Murphy and Michael Murphy with Team Catch and Release took home first place.
Doubled up catch, 23lb blue and a 13lb blue catfish. Fishing lake Keystone Oklahoma.

Drifting baits at lake keystone. Had a good day of fishing. Doubled up on 2 decent size Blue Catfish. Got lucky on the 23lb fish. I had forgot to engage the reel and it spooled completely out. By the time I reeled it in I could feel the burn in my shoulder.

Was some good weights turned in, unfortunately the camera battery went dead and we didn't get the winning team. 1st place was 109, 2nd 70.50 and 3rd 69.15. Was a good turn out, we had 15 teams total. Next tournament in on Keystone Lake April 6 2024. Should be a great turn out.

We had a great turn out of 26 boats big pay outs, first place was 3140.00 big fish of the day was 34 pound and 91 total weight of 5 fish. It was a brutal cold and windy day that morning, but afternoon got above freezing. Was a fun time had by most and a lot of teams turned in quality fish.

The day started as any other great day on the water, first spot produced quite a few fish. We moved and within 30 minutes on spot Hellcat rod got bent over and the Abu Garcia 7000c reel screaming! 50 lb blue was peeling drag, didn't realize how good of a fish it was until it got closer to the boat, then the fight was on. Getting ready for a tournament coming up. I changed out my line and respooled using Ande Monster Monofilament, 80# Mono Slime line, Demon Dragon Brute. We are headed to Sooner lake in just a few short weeks. I hope to get out and start prefishing it.
35 Pound Blue Catfish in a small body of water. Plus quite a few other good size Blues.

Went fishing with good friend Clinton Watts. He asked to not tell the location of where we are fishing. It is more of an oversize pound than a lake. Was crazy the size fish in this body of water. Fished out of his G3 2400. Used Humminbird Solix to find the fish. Then used Mad Katz and Hellcat rods, Penn Sqall II reels. Smack Down Rod Holders. Monster HD Net.

We fished a tournament on Oolagah lake, we didn't fair so well in this tournament. Only turning in 29 Pounds out of five fish. We struggled with short bites all day long. I had huge baits out and should have ran a stinger hook.

This is my tournament setup I use the majority of the time. Mostly lake fishing, it works for dragging baits or change weights out, pull of floats and anchor fish.

@SeaArkBoats we put the SeaArk Dynasty 2.0 to work this weekend. @twistedcatoutdoors tournament. They put on a fun and smooth event. We are hoping to go to more next season!

The one that showed weighing in was the winner.
This tournament was brutal with high winds and we were ready to get out of there. The next on is on Verdigris River and I hope to get better footage of it.

No, I use live scope for bait, depend on side imaging, 2d and down Imaging. Then just knowledge of where they maybe.

Thats a sweet boat. Nicest looking Seaark made in my opinion. I run a Bay extreme but looking at trading for one of these. How fast will that 300 push it. Saw someone said around 60. Seaarks have never been a fast boat. Durable yes. Fast not so much.
I wish it would hit 60, the fastest I ever got it to go was 55 and that was wind at my back, normally its 52 with the jack plate 3" up. Thats still fairly fast, but I like fast things, so wish it were faster.
Mine has hit 57, but I haven't changed props. You have to get a yamaha 300 to get any speed out of these and thats what i went with. I'm still rigging mine out, but these are by far the best boats seaark has made.
@@RiverRatCatfishing1 ya wish mine had a Yamaha now lol I had no idea the difference. Mine has good bottom end.
@@teamfatheadcatfishing3136 I looked at buying the same one you bought, but decided to wait it out for a yamaha. I've always preferred them. Your boat is bad ass and came with a lot of things already. I'm still rigging mine out.
