Great interview. Theory is my favourite album. Love the proggy parts and the absence of choruses. Too bad Arjen doesnt want to create a successor. I hope he changes his mind. As he said, he often does :-). Also great that you asked him about his mental health and how he resolved it. Very interesting.

Awesome interview. And it is nice to see you pointing that TToE is a story about a man on the spectrum (it's nice to point this thing to people that are living far away from that reality; and to call the attetion for the people on the spectrum itself). But there is a strange part about Steven Wilson, that bugs me. He running from working with Arjen saying that "retro-prog" is not his thing is kinda lame and a lie (lol). Retro-prog is an objective language to him. Not only on his music, but the production of Opeth and other works. And he loves the 70s prog. So, i think was a poor excuse from him. : P

I’m a relatively new fan of his music, dicovered it about 8 months ago by seeing The day that the World breaks down on RUclips. I immediately loved it and since than have been checking out more of his work. I like the complexity and the overall sound of it. I just though of this now. Autistic are not socially rude. Autistic are socially clumsy. We do feel guilty with a group social mistake. It not like we don't care what the other think. It just we are using our intelligence to fit in. If we have off night we are interrupting people who don't want us to join their conversation. "Excuse me this is a private conversation." Sorry I'm socially clumsy.
