Kusatsu onsen is a small town and a great place for an overnight stay. We enjoyed strolling around the Yubatake area which is illuminated at night time.

The Snow Monkeys were one of the highights of our trip tpo Japan.

Due to a limited time we only stayed in Sendai overnight. We reckon it is a city worth exploring further. The visit to the Snow Monkey Park was on our to do list. It was an incredible experience to watch the Japanese Macaques doing their playful antics. 😀

the reason so many Danes moved to New Zealand and called their town Dannevirke was that in 1864 we lost the defensive fortress Dannevirke in a war to Germany and southern Denmark.. and all the Danes who lived in the lost country were no longer allowed to speak Danish or write in Danish or to have any Danish things according to German law and therefore move the great many from the German dictatorship that was placed over them... so you can say it was political refugees who started this city. greetings from a Dane

We enjoyed walking around this area. The beautiful buildings have an old world charm. If you are into architecture this area is worth visiting. 😀

I came here because it said te reo Maori words. Had to get to the end to find them.

The view was amazing lots of Snow and its Summer na here in Philippines

We did not see any wildlife animals but the view of the drift ice was amazing. The Abashiri Prison Museum was an interesting visit. 😀

Our second visit to Milford Sound was just as spectacular as the first visit. 😀

Happened to drive this road by accident once (as Google Maps told us it was the fastest route from New Plymouth to Taupo (spoiler alert: it wasn't)). Super happy we ended up taking the route though, incredible to see the dense and rich nature in "the middle of nowhere" in New Zealand!

This was very interesting to watch! I learned about the history of Norsewood just a few days ago. As a Norwegian, I'm quite fascinated by it all. I lived in Auckland, New Zealand in 2019 and happened to drive through Norsewood without knowing about its Norwegian history. Wish I would've known and taken the time to visit it properly. Hope to someday return to go see what it's like. Can't imagine what an existence it must've been for the first settlers and founders of this village! Thank you for making the video.
