Would the fire ant pet work to protect the summons thorns? Because you could bring it into the fight. Or because you have to poison then infect the queens do you lose your baby ant pets?

So black ant baby gives 50% increase to damage reduction while the fire ant baby gives 25% attack damage increase... So which one is better?

Buddy (not to be rude) but i killed the infected broodmother, and all of the other bosses just with the ant queen staff, its a good weapon if you know how to use it

Hey, everyone! So I would like to comment on this because this is something crucial that I forgot about. Instead of going down the bulky route of the fire, ant armor. Go down sleek because the sleek effect will increase the amount of acid damage you will do. (Corrosion doesn't work for ranged weapons.) Thanks to @lamielillusion8019 for the info!

Or how to show a crooked build. First: in your version, the fire set is 100% useless. The defense reduction from this set does not work on long-range attacks. Second: to enhance this weapon, you need to make a sleek set to get an increase in acid damage. It would also be good to have an acid damage increase on the trinket. And in such a mediocre version, it is easier to take a bow, which will cope much faster. Third: the mutation from the staffs works for this weapon.

Uh the infusion effect + the black ant stops adding resist at 81% sadly but it still stacks with armor so it’d be better to run one weapon or cone with resist and black ant pet and full heavy armor

The new ant buffs are insane this tank build is crazy.

Been using it ALOT in NG+ MotMD Assasin chest Ladybug shinguards Breathslayer Cone i am using has- Fresh up Best Finale Fury Stun Mutations- Swordmaster Coup Trapper Copprate kickback Shocking dismissal (free slot) Stack up crit with smoothies toast and meal (for bosses) its my conan the barbarian build. Would love any feedback too. Obv perfect blocking is key

Also with the damamge mitigation wouldnt it be better to use thorns in conjunction for passive damage?

Just jumped into the game 5 days ago, and have spent 3 all nighters playing. It's truly a wonderful game, UI is a little clunky, but other than that... and the sharp learning curve, lol. It's so much fun. Though I had to take a break cause I got too pissed with falling off the branches during the hedge climb 2 days ago. XD KILLED MY FIRST RHINO BEETLE LAST NIGHT!! WOO!

And the only thing that this tank build doesn't work against is giant (normal sized) humans stomping you. Thankfully, this doesn't exist. Being a life stealer player, I think the tank build a better opinion for my next playthrough.
