In this exciting video, I made 1 and a half cups because the first one sucked but the second one turned out pretty nice. Also, bark goes flying off the log. Exciting!!!!

In this ongoing series of cup lathing, I take a log that was grown from an authentic tree here on Earth. I spoke to the tree nymph and she was cool with it. The Ents however, didn't think they should be made in to funiture. I told them the tree was pooping its leaves every year and clogging up the pool filter. We all hmm'd and haw'd a bit.

Here I add commentary to enhance your entertainment. The log was from the same tree that was removed due to the fact that it pooped leaves like crazy in the fall and clogged up the pool filter. Using a rag like that is courting disaster, and not just for the work piece. Cut it down to a small patch and use it like that so it doesn't risk the chance on getting snagged on something and ripping your arm off. The same applies to touching spinning wood with a glove. One snag and your hand, arm, or life is gone.
LOL,when you were making those inside push cuts, I was just thinking that could be dangerous and then it happened. I learned pull cuts are safer. Nice turn, Lee

Absolutely brilliant video. Genuinely too many points that had me chuckling. Art is marketing, yep making rockets is clearly more fun. Really looking forward to seeing some of your homemade engines make some rockets go upwards. Please keep doing your honest "this probably won't work" content as it's 100% more interesting than the alternative rocket content shared.. Oh and last thought, I agreed with testing in the desert.. We'd prefer you're not shot while testing. Us lot in the UK thankfully don't have the same challenge..

did you turn your table saw around on the stand? mine has the handle for the rolling frame on the other side...
quite honestly, I only put the saw on the stand as a way to put the stand somewhere. I plan to make a stand that integrates in to the table. Same with the compound miter saw. I'm just low on space.
@@STEAMMacGyver same here...yet 5 years later it's still in the rolling stand 😂
