Snow hits Meopham, Kent
A met office yellow warning for snow was issued for most of the country which included Meopham. Light snow began to fall just after 8pm and started to turn quite heavy around 10pm. As forecasted , it started to turn sleet and hail around 1am on Sunday morning.

I was wondering if any trees came down somewhere in Meopham. Very surprised none in my part of Neopham
Britain is having icy weather and floods and we are having heat with temperatures in the upper thirties. Global warming is a direct result of mans greed. Thank the Lord that it is cooler today.
Their is no such thing as man made climate change. It's a scam to empose more restrictions on us and to take away our freedoms.

Yes me too until now. I used my iphone first to identify the aurora and was shoched to see how bright it was. Then, checked with naked eye and it was quite faint. Later on became sronger with naked eye.

We just had 18 consecutive months of above average for 1961-1990. Surely we don’t get 2 months in a row of below 1961-1990 average temperatures for uk and Ireland in summer, looks like it 😢

@@theweatherlog lots of relatives live in and around Ashford, and on the Hoo Peninsula. Never lived there but visited a lot, from my native Croydon :) it holds a special place in my heart with many happy memories.

Lived in meopham for 58 years . Luckily self employed and work from home.

We had icicles similar to the ones in the video in Bromyard - 1987... it was due to our poor insulation at the time. The camera footage is superb from so long ago, it is like the dashcam footage from recent times, however, your video covers a larger field of view and feels like being back in the day itself. Sorry to ramble on but most of the video clips from the 1987 winter are not that accurate and feel rushed, this doesn't.
