Please don’t call these terrorist thugs Eritreans. These group protesting and pretending to be Eritrean opposition groups are infact Ethiopians mainly from Tigray and their sympathisers who are against Eritrean independence hence wearing and waving the federation flag. The tigrayns who came to power in Ethiopia in 1991 with help of Eritreans turned against the Eritreans in 1998 waging a huge border war as a pretext to reconquer Eritrea. Their conquest miserably failed and the contested border towns were awarded to Eritrea by the international boundary commission. The TPLF then started falsely demonising Eritrea alleging support for terrorist groups in Somalia and the West went along with what ever the Tigrayns aka TPLF has mustered against Eritrea. The TPLF hired lobbyists in the White house and European parliaments, journalists in the western media and so called think tanks who have been bullying the Eritrean nation for more than 20 Years slapping Sanctions after Sanctions and waging propaganda war from the TPLF text book. The Tigrayns while in power for 27 years divided the Ethiopian nation along ethnic lines which is the main cause of the ethnic groups waging war against each other as we speak. They lost power due to their Melanie leadership, poor human rights record and the loss of border war with Eritrea. After Abiy Ahmed prosperity party came to power in 2018 the Tigrayns returned and were confined to their province until November 2020 where they attacked the Ethiopian army northern command and started war against the central government to remove Abiy Ahmed by force. They also fired rockets to the Eritrean capital Asmara dragging Eritrea into the war. After two years of TPLF madness the Tigrayns were defeated by the Ethiopian and Eritrean Armies. They were hastily rushed by Washington to sign the Pretoria agreement to disarm themselves and integrate into the Ethiopian Army. Their leaders were humiliated and the Tigrayn population mortified. These groups that are making noises in Europe, Isreal, USA, Australia and Canada are recruited by TPLF & their sympathisers to continue their failed attack on Eritrea and Eritrean identity in the diaspora by infiltrating and attacking the Eritrean communities, cultural festivals and churches that co-existed peacefully for decades. Their aim and fantasy is to create what they call big Tigray that includes Eritrea. Hence waving the old blue federation Flag which basically means they are anti Eritrean independence and identity. Eritreans are peace loving and resilient people but when it comes to their independence and identity they will defend it fiercely as they did to gain their freedom by defeating the largest army in Africa during the independence war from 1961 to 1991 which brought the calumniation of communist regime in Ethiopia followed by the defeat of the TPLF regime in the 1998 border war and the recent war in 2020 which reduced the TPLF to making noises in the streets of Middle East, Europe North America and Australia. Eritreans will never forget the atrocities committed by Tigrayns on the Eritrean people during the communist Derg regime, forced deportation of Eritreans from Ethiopia in 1998, war crimes during the border war and the suffering caused by the recent War. 100% a terrorist group of mobs. Allowing such group to operate in your countries is tantamount to supporting terrorism against innocent civilians. This can't be tolerated as it will bring revenge and more violence in your own very land against any citizen of a country. Western media & anti-migrant forces are spreading misinformation about the mob violence in Middle East, Europe. Australia and North America. It was the latest coordinated assault by opposition thugs against a peaceful Eritrean festival, following brutal attacks in Europe, Middle East, Canada, Australia and the US. These mob assaults are part of the Western-backed campaign to overthrow the gov't of Eritrea, which has resisted IMF dictates and fought off the sectarian TPLF proxy force. Which is why Western media glorifies the pipe-wielding attackers as "pro-democracy protesters.”
