Hi guys. Please help me out with some advice? I have an empty cabinet. What do i need to rebuild the jukebox so it will work with a coin acceptor? RaspberryPI and a touch screen or what do you recommend?
I don't know how to restore an old jukebox. On the description of this video you can find the tutorial step by step to do it as I did. If you like you can also make it coin-op, but I do not explain this on my "how to", you should look at fruitbox documentation.
i want to try this in my broken 1970s jukebox. but still use the digital jukebox buttons

2 quick questions. 1) does it play flac songs or only mp3? 2) can i modify it to play songs with coins?
1 - I don't know if it play flac files, you can check on the web searching for the software name "fruitbox". 2 - yes, you can configure it to play with coins

Ciao. Ogni pulsante ha un suo codice. Per capire qual'è devi avviare fruitbox con un parametro che ti scrive il codice a schermo quando lo premi ("fruitbox -testbutton" o qualcosa del genere, guarda la documentazione di fruitbox). Una volta che hai i codici poi configurarli dal file di configurazione del template. Nello stesso file puoi anche configurare i suoni 😉

Ciao bellissimo lavoro, stavo provando a ricrearlo pure io, ma l'audio mi risulta molto basso. Dal pi3 ho sostato l'audio da hdmi a jack, è migliorato un pochino ma sempre basso

How do you install music on it from RUclips
You should convert every single video to mp3 and then put them on the right folder (see fruitbox documentation). Several web applications does that, but not sure it is legal.

Look for fruitbox on the web or look at the guide linked on description that contains all the links
where did you find your template for your jukebox? I want to build one that looks like that.
I did it by myself. I have been inspired by the Crosley model. Look for it on the web.

your software is great. please tell me how did you connect all of the buttons on raspberry.
They are arcade buttons, I did it in the same way as for an arcade: buttons - > controller - > USB

the one you used is for 2 players. that way you can connect all of the buttons?

Great job! I've been trying to find those rectangular buttons for awhile but can't seem to find them. The closest I've seen is square buttons. Also, what did you use for the button labels?
You can look for "rectangular arcade buttons" on the most common on line stores (also the in the generic ones). The labels are stickers printed with a laser printer on a special plastic sheet (also available on line). Share your result ;)
