Back down in Florida, got a chance to go out fishing on a pontoon boat through the Inter-coastal. I am not too versed in saltwater fishing down here but we still managed to get on a pretty good bite! Today we are down at the farm pond fishing for largemouth bass. I've been here before and know there are big ones in here and we seemed to get on a pretty good bite. Today we are down at the honey hole in the cold and rainy conditions fishing with the Ned Rig! I've never used this bait before and it definitely works! Today we got out in the Florida Gulf and were trolling. We had an awesome day and brought in a 40 inch Barracuda, kept two Spanish Mackerel and got a little Blue Runner! Hey y'all, I'm down here in beautiful sunny Florida out fishing and doing some exploring. Today we got out on the Myakka River and bagged a couple decent bass and one Tilapia. Here we're out fishing a new spot that I was lucky enough to find on google maps. This spot gets no pressure and I knew there was a giant lurking somewhere in the depths. Last time I was here I caught all little dinks, so I was really stoked to put a big one in the bag! #fishing #outdoors #adventure

Plenty. Alot of big ones too. I get told to move spots quite often by the rangers, cause they know which ones are aggressive.

Not gonna lie, I fear those more, and so do alot of folks here. Gators are big and pretty easily seen. Moccasins...not so much

Love this spot! Was there today and caught some bass, tilapia, and some nice gar
lived in sarasota for 30 years. caught many fish 6 to 10 lbs from myakka. best bet is a red shad culprit worm or charlies tequilla sunrise worm. fish the pocket by the bird walk for best results. good luck on your next trip
