Typically we would recommend laying the flooring before, installing furnishings, that way, theres less fiddly bits cutting around things BUT, this than risks causing damage to the flooring from dropping tools/materials on it.The flooring is designed to be stuck down with specially designed flooring adhesive.

No need for regret, we've tried a few flooring designs now, and haven't really felt much difference. Unless you have under flooring system (which would be awesome) we found the flooring to never feel that warm, as it's where all the cold air sinks to

@@jurassicvans4438 there is a lot of cold wind unter the van, you could link a sail to the side to stop that, but only usefull when you stay somewhere a long time and live in it.

Did you use any counter sunk plates and sinks to secure the joints of the ply?

Hi Andy, good question. We did not screw or glue down the ply or insulation board in our latest van. When laying the ply and insulation, we used the largest pieces as possible, and made sure the joins on the ply and insulation don't line up. This helped keep the plywood flush. Regarding damage to any click flooring, any movement in your flooring should be minimal, and any load would be dissipated, I can't imagine localised damage occuring on a small scale such as this.

Yes exactly, that's what we've found. We would like to test the theory of "sagging" over time, through fatigue cycling, but not sure about the most cost effective way to do so.
