Lots of people wanted to do a tribute to Chris. But Kevin was actually capable. There’s something perfect about this. As someone who has lost a lot of friends in a similar fashion, the distortion and lack of perfection just adds to the realness. I wish I couldn’t feel what Kevin was feeling here, but I get it. It’s more perfect because so few know about it. People die young and everyone cares…for a moment. Then it’s just a footnote. RIP to everyone from the gen x era who didn’t live to see the natural ending. Such a tortured group.

Because we love our musical hero’s we automatically think they are in this better place. Good people or our beloved bands are not all in heaven.
