why didn't you use vellum rest blend?
You can use rest blend to help guide the shrinking and inflating animations. It may or may not simplify. That's something to be tested. But to make the objects solid (no stretching and bending), you'll need a shape match anyways.
Nice techniques, but I came here to see if you have shared your lighting and shading technique and how you setup your color space may be its a good idea for new tutorial on that topic in detail its looks just kick ass thank you

I created a tiny black and white texture of a feathered square and tiled it in shader.
Is it possible that there are no mops shape falloff in houdini 20.5?
Yes, you may need to download the files of the most recent MOPs version, as I did, and install it on H 20.5. Here's a link to the versions: github.com/toadstorm/MOPS/releases

@@bola_studio Cara tô travado na penultima etapa, quando vou fazer a colisão, a animated guide salta, tentei cancelar a velocidade no eixo Y, mudar o default thickness, aumentar gravidade, zerar gravidade kkkkk Acho que tô pulando alguma explicação sua do video. O que você acha que pode ser?
@@gustavopedrosa9857 Será que o cloth tá intersectando com o collision no primeiro frame? Checa se vc moveu o collision objeto pelo menos a distância do Default Thickness definido pelo Vellum Solver na aba Advanced. Eu tinha feito isso na cena pra evitar interseção. E me diz se funcionou.
Is the project file for first scene included? And can I modify it? Not a houdini user but wanted to use that animation for some project. Let me know how can I buy that project file if possible. Great tool nevertheless.

Looks awesome. Was the initial opening sewing animation displaying Threadify created using this HDA?
Yes, Threadify and two other HDAs which are not included, as well as MOPs. One of the HDAs I used is the "Trace Curves" that I show in the video. The other helps create knitting patterns.
I am a Houdini novice so take this question with a grain of salt and no disrespect. But why use the mops shape falloff and not the mops plain falloff. When I did this following along it made the explosion happen directionally for a couple of frames. After all the random distance stuff put in at the bottom, which make the jelly beans go different distances the plain falloff seems easier to manage. Wondering your thoughts.
Good question! I hardly use the plain falloff with clones and particles, like this, to not be tempted to create too uniform animations. Perfect uniformity is usually not what happens in the real-world.

Yes. The Trace Curve Sop is not ready to ship and it will be a separate product than Threadify. Sorry for the confusion.

If you visit the product page again, it has now an option for you to get the Trace Curves SOP with Threadify as a bundle or standalone.
there is also "LYNX" tools which do the same thing

Is it a black boxed hda, or there is a chance to modify it after purchase?
For limited commercial and commercial versions, it is an open asset (you can dive in and change). But for trial and apprentice versions, you can't modify it. On Orbolt, you have all these options: orbolt.com/asset/bola::bola_tf_Threadify::1.0 Also, you can't sell a modified version. But feel free to keep it for your own use, commercial or personal.
