Bachmann switch stand remote adapter
I've been experimenting with a manual remote adapter for the Bachmann 94648 switch stand.
This will hopefully let me install certain stands closer to the layout walkway where they can be reached more easily.

Fun looking railway.
I wonder if cables for bicycle brakes/shifters would work
Great layout , i love the steep grade on the side of the mountian👌very 😎 ty
Amazing 👏
wewww amazingg ilke you😮😮🎉🎉
Awesome layout but can't imagine the daunting task of having to clean and polish the track for it to have proper electrical conductivity.
Layout is tough..... 🫡
That crewman sure isn't afraid of falling off.
When building these large layouts or any layout for that matter, how do you know how much power you will need for the whole thing? Love the whole setup!
I'm afraid I don't know the specifics, except that they follow the control system manufacturer's guidelines (Zimo) and probably err on the side of having plenty of power available in any given zone of the layout.
Utterly awesome layout. My jealousy knows no bounds. 😊👍😘
Super. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
Very cool! Thanks for the ride!
Pretty cool!
That’s amazing!!!
Nice video Cliff!
Beautifully “Chaotic”. Or Organic Growth? Anyway very beautiful.
Stunning work!
Great layout. What a labor of love.
Too cute: one with pink slippers, other with bare foots. How many trains can you run at one time?
Thanks! Practically speaking, with only 1 remote, only 1 train. I plan on getting another remote though.
It would be cool if you reenact the train ride to the future scene from BTTF Part III. The only thing missing is a Delorean. I don’t think a playmobil version will do. But I’ll bet the Lego version of the BTTF delorean will do. Wouldn’t you think?
That's a great idea! 😄
@@VnTCliffy I love the sound of that. All you need right now is that small Lego Delorean set that can fit on those tracks. Maybe a different BTTF Delorean toy.
This is a good video.
Absolutely charming and fun to watch.
Thx for the vid. The vegetation looks awesome. You have to fix that chuffs/revolution because it's bugging me. Ha! Marty
I agree, it's really bugging me too! Thanks Marty!
Awesome
Beautiful. Enormous.
OMG, can not wait for your model train cab ride <3
would have been nice to see some trains running
Nice layout the scale to the naturel surroundings is very pleasant to see. Buildings could be very cool😅thanks for sharing
Are LENZ controllers used for wired operation?
"Promosm"
It is nice to have a lot of friends/club members who help with a layout this size ..
Cliff, seems like black magic!
Wow, that's impressive. They have created a world of wonder there.
Simply breathtaking
Easier than my driveway, Cliff! Assume the shed is railway related???
Hi John! It's for my new shop, where I'll hopefully make stuff for my RR hobbies, so yeah I guess it is! My wife's yarn dying business is growing, and she's taking over my small garage shop, so I'll be man-caving it here. 🤪
Cute
Wow
Intricate layout. Very impressive. Now can you send some trains?
Talk about elaborate, I'm speechless!!! And the amount of switching is way beyond. That layout must-have been a bear to lay out and make work !!! It's truly incredible!!! Big ass props to you!!! WOW!!!
Beautiful!! Strange that there seems to be a lot of single wagons in short sidings around the place??
Spotted cars for realistic operations, most likely.
Very nice layout. Best regards from Germany
Which is the scale of the layout? Is it HO? How are try tracks maintain ? You mentioned DCC current aswell…how to keep all the wagons and locomotives away from the rain? Under some tunnels.?
It's F (1/20.3) scale. Standard gauge in this scale is 70.64mm. HO would get absolutely destroyed running outdoors on natural terrain like this.
Когда Сити Скайлайн уже не хватает. Шикарно.
Thats some train set. Gonna need track gangs
wow that is huge and awesome. lots of time
Nice. Ii just have one question...... Do you ever have any electrical issues with rain ?
Hi, thanks. It's not my layout, it belongs to the Ames. Stan manages the electrical, and has no problems. The stainless steel track sends power to the locomotives, and doesn't need much cleaning (if any). Each joint has a jumper wire soldered across (using a very hot iron). They've been running this layout for many years with this approach.
That is amazing! My wife would kill me :(
Nice video, LIKE.
Really great!
Awesome😮😮😮😮😮😮
