    Change the name of your video to, here's my truck and what I have done to it. Not a review of the 4.5 rough country lift kit, and not give a review, or say anything about it, or show anything about the rough country 4.5 lift kit. Geezzz

    Keeping a no drop pitman arm would've kept the traction bar parallel to drag link and prevent bump steer

    That's why I went with the nils. Plus it doesn't have the bulky profile like the ion. Lays in the sled so much easier. I have two 5 amp batteries and NEVER had to go to my 2nd battery not once. Even after drilling 60+ holes through 12" of ice on the worst day. Ion is overkill.

    You think if I run 24x14s on 35s it’ll work with a 4.5 lift

      Ya there's plenty of room for that and I was running 35s on stock height before I installed the lift on .

    I’m doing the same thing to my truck, does ur axle sit a inch more to the drivers side?

    How has that lift kit been working out? Any problems or uncomfortable ride?

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 3 года назад

      Good so far but still a rough ride. I do recommend getting traction bar for the rear axle because I can feel my axle move while hitting a big bump especially on 37 inch tires. Also recommend getting a dual steering stabilizer where you pitarm connect to and that's something would have to custom make.

    I thought for the 4.5” lift you didn’t need a dropped pitman arm? It says keep stock pitman arm on the website

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 3 года назад

      You don't need a pit arm drop that's jus an option and I bought it because looking forward to strech the front from 1.5 to 2 inches in the future.

      Cylinder head studs, gasket kit, oil cooler, egr cooler, turbo drain tube, stc update, oil manifold plugs, IPR valve, thermostat, 190cc fuel injectors with stock nozzle. Thats what was all done on the truck.

    What model Makita and what size battery? How many holes? I’m having trouble with my batteries only lasting 6 to 8 holes in 8” of ice. That’s with brand new xph07 and brand new 5ah batteries. Thanks for the vid!

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 5 лет назад

      I have the same model and on the top of the drill theres a switch for speed and I keep at 1 not 2 and also you gotta make sure batteries dont freeze cause lithium ion batteries stop working after -4 degree and jus make they stay warm like keep your batteries inside the tent or ice house. If the battery stops working even if full when its cold, all you gotta do it warm them up it'll get back working.

    • @yamahaman077
      @yamahaman077 5 лет назад

      Impaler420 GoPro that’s just it though.. I haven’t even taken it on the ice to fish. Batteries are warm, straight out of the truck. Setting on 1. All 3 of my 5ah batteries are good until the drill cuts out, then they are drained. With about 20-24” I drilled 3 1/2 holes with two batteries.

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 5 лет назад

      Oh really weird I get up 8 on one 5.0 amh battery one 22 inches of ice and I've done 34 hole on a single charge with 9 inch of ice. What ice auger are you using on this drill ?

    That 18 volt hammer drill in drill-only mode must be putting out a hell of a lot of torque to spin that heavy bit, let alone cut like that. Can't place your accent, where are you?

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 6 лет назад

      Ya that drill delivers 1,090 lbs of torque and its has more than enough power and I'm from Ukraine.

    Does it have to be a hammer drill? I thought hammer drills were just for concrete and masonry?

    • @ukraine42094
      @ukraine42094 7 лет назад

      Tony Crossbee its doesn't have to be a hammer drill and I have it set on drill mode not hammer mode. You can use a cordless compact drill or corded drill. Some people bring thier honda generator and use a corded drill with the nils auger work jus fine. What drill are you thinking of using?
