Decide: What's Next on Constant Cadence?
I really like the MIP display, but i just don't like the rotating compass bezel. When the price drops I may pick one up anyway.
The MIP offers way more than I'll ever use but it's great having all you need at a glance. I agree with you on the compass bezel...I wonder if anyone will actually use that? Then again, I don't use ANY bezels on any of my watches, and then only to have a little clicky fun.
Very cool man, would you be interested in investing in my startup?
The evolution of the Mido TV case is well docomented : isochrono.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/isochrono_mido_multifort_TV_17-1024x299.jpg
I can't buy one of these watches cause it reminds of Johnny sin
Well I didn't know who that was and I can't say I'm glad I do now, but I suspect he pronounces his name with a hard "s" as typically used with the word "sin" where Sinn is pronounced more like "Zin"...which should remind you of the tasty and potent red grape/wine, Zinfandel. Follow me for more tips and coping mechanisms. 😂😆🍷⌚
@ConstantCadence he was wearing the watch before one of his videos hence why it's hard, no pun intended, to get a Sinn on my wrist, thanks for the review anyhow
You cant do this I have no resistance to 369 watch….
I feel your pain. Resistance is futile! 😂
Thanks for sharing! I have the 556i. The red second hand on the RS is really cool however. As a side note from an editing perspective I’d recommend getting right into the actual video at the beginning instead of the intro. If you want to keep the intro/branding, put it after a hook around 30 seconds once you’ve got the viewers attention. Regardless the intro should be a lot shorter. Also the parts of video with just an image are going to drastically reduce your average view duration. Just a passing critique!
Funny you should mention those two things - I was thinking the same thing and noticed duration wasn't too hot and the fact that I lingered on the still a bit too much. I may actually incorporate some sort of activity in the narrative in the future...maybe tennis or paddle boarding or driving...just need to figure out the camera work. I truly appreciate your feedback.
Love the production, great review, lots of valid information on the piece, great and catchy outro.. I might just be sticking around to see more of your vids! Keep up the great work!
Thank you. I truly appreciate the feedback! Up next I'm thinking a Sinn 556 A RS review.
I love my green face / bracelet watch and thinking if I should get the rose gold / rubber strap variant. Would the green face will go with the brown strap ?? 😅
I think a green face with a brown leather strap is a SOLID go to as far as watch/strap colors go. That being said, rubber isn't leather. I think that rose gold version is FIRE and I think that brown rubber strap will look awesome on both watches.
oh ! sapphire !!!
Fancy right?! 😂
I am a digital marketer and seo expert. I researched your channel Constant Cadenceand found that your channel videos are very beautiful so people are praising you. But your channel likes, comments, video views, and subscribers are not good. If you want, I will give you my best work. I will also monetize the channel by increasing subscribers organically.
Purchased one of these back in February, got the blue face and strap. A lovely watch, great style, got a good deal which made it even better.
Love to hear it!
I hope that this is a hit for Mido. It really doesn't look like anything else out there which is nice.
Agree! It's a great value IMO at around $1k.
That is a beautiful watch. Have fun at pickleball
Thanks! Should be fun...as long as I don't break anything! 😂
@@ConstantCadence i know that feeling good all too well. My daughter has taken up tennis so I get to chase tennis balls and try to keep up.
nice les paul!)
Thank you! It's a Standard with the "unburst" finish FYI.
Giving aquanaut vibes
True! I talk about this in the review. The case and orange strap are def aligned...but that's where the similarities end. If only the Aquanaut had a big date complication...then I might consider it! 😁😆😎💸
The Mido Multifort TV was released in 1973, three whole years before Gerald Genta debuted the Nautilus for Patek in 1976. The Patek is the homage.
@@montys8th the 1973 version looked quite a bit different than this 2023 reissue but your point is well taken!
I may be young but I always enjoy these longform watch videos! This is a great channel. Subscribed for sure!
I try to keep them to around 10 minutes and stick to the basics. Thanks for the comment and thank you so much for subscribing!
It's not the style I prefer, but I'm not the one wearing it! Good review, thanks.
Thanks for commenting! What's your style? I'm looking for different watches to review!
Can you go to the boutique at your own time or by appointment only? I hope he’ll add drill lugs in his future divers
@@D3athN0t3 visits to the boutique are by appointment only. I just filled out the Contact Us form on the web site and Alan got right back to me. Interesting about the drilled lugs...I think they are a cool retro look and make bracelet changes easier but some don't like holes in the case. Also, his straps come with quick release spring bars. What do you like about drilled lugs?
@@ConstantCadencedrill lugs gives the flexibility of changing straps that don’t have quick change springbars also prevents from case back scratches due to digging or slipping IMO
Great review of a very cool watch!
Glad you liked it!
When people are saying MAMACOO is a better option for buying a watch,I very much agree!
I'm not familiar. Is that like Joma?
Is the head of the watch Bronze or Rose Gold? I have v1 (#173/423) of the 300m Torsk-Diver with a silhouette of the submarine below the pinion at 6:00 o'clock.
It's Bronze. It's my first Bronze watch and I really like it. It seems to be finished pretty well also as it hasn't tarnished much but I'm sortof looking forward to that. Apparently, Bronze is about 10% more dense than steel which would explain why it felt a bit heavy with a big Bronze clasp - don't get me wrong there's definitely a place for it but when I'm doing stuff like typing a lot the clasp can get in the way. The Delugs or any minimal clasp with FKM would do nicely I think. I also think Bronze looks really great with leather...just can't wrap my mind around leather with a dive watch...even though most folks that wear dive watches don't actually dive I do swim a lot as a boater and someone who lives on the water. Thank you for commenting!
Very nice review.
I appreciate the feedback!
Love this watch. Plan to buy it next month when I’m near an Omega shop. The only thing I would prefer is the five minute markers be a tiny bit bigger (wider). Having compared the white and black dial versions side by side it does subtly impact the appearance.
Thanks for commenting! The indices are a little slim for sure but man it's such a great watch in almost every way. Let us know when you get yours!!
I can say you have convinced me to acquire this time piece next. And I thought I was done and finished with my collection…
It's a solid, great looking watch that's also a GMT with excellent water resistance. It will be a great addition to your collection!
I've atleast seen 6-8 people who bought Breitling watches because of that 'Sketchy Dudes' video. It's good storytelling but this is great for those who don't want overcrowded dials.
Yeah it's a pretty simple dial but the sunray pattern and applied markers and Breitling "B" make it really interesting! Thank you for tapping in!
Nice choice and i need to pick one up as the third in my collection.
You won't be disappointed! I've got an Artem strap on the way and I think it's going to look fantastic!
Black rubber strap for me. Not a fan of white dials on bracelet.
I've got a nice Omega Diver 300 on rubber and I love it.
one of my favs indeed. on the wrist its worth every dollar...the gold family "B" on the deep black dial just looks superb
It's a very beautiful watch.
Thanks for stopping in. It's probably my closest to a dress watch.
Nice to see Mido TV Big Date getting some love. Wishing you every success 👍
It's such a versatile and cool piece. Thank you for stopping by!
I'm looking forward to your videos.
A new one coming soon! Thanks for stopping by!
I would love to see the Hamilton Khaki Field watch. I had the quartz version of the Hamilton field watch and sold it as it felt too small at the time. For Microbrands, Brew, Nodus, Riley are all cool looking. I was lucky enough to get a Nodus watch in for review awhile back. Your microbrand looks cool, I had to cheat to find the make/model but not sharing. Thanks for another awesome video.
Khaki Field it is! I love that watch. I have a Brew Metric Retro and like what Nodus is doing as well! I'll reveal the micro in the video tomorrow...it's a pretty unique piece and watch brand! Thanks for your comment!
Welcome to youtube! Nice collection. Can't wait to see more videos!
Thank you very much for the warm welcome. New video coming soon!
Nice watches.
Thank you! Many more to come!
Great video Matt, looking forward to more content in the future. Love the idea of the ‘guess the watch’ segment, as well as the giveaways would be amazing. I think that the ‘guess the watch’ segment would me along with other viewers that are beginners in the watch world learn more about different styles and types of watches. I also wanted to say that i would love to see a review of the Mido, seems really nice. Also, have no idea what that blue dial watch is, do you have any other tips or “clues” about it, to help me out? Thanks
Thanks and yours is the second request for the Mido review. I'll definitely get into that on the channel soon! Have a great day and I hope your dial makes you smile!
**IMPORTANT NOTICE** - I wholeheartedly apologize for the coffee sip and, most of all, the lip smack. I'll do better. I promise.
Hey man, great video, wanted hear what you thought about Maen watches, Im a highschool student saving up for a nice watch, do you have any suggestions. Also wanted to say that at least for my taste audio quality is usually makes me want to continue watching a video or clicking off. Its alot nicer in my opinion hearing someones voice clearly. Loved the video man looking forward to more in the future!!
Hey Anthony - thanks for your comments! Now we're getting into the good stuff re: a brand to get started with. In short, I DO like Maen a lot. I have been interested in the Manhattan for quite some time but their models tend to run smaller and I have an 8" wrist so I tend to stick with 40mm+. I think both the Manhattan and the Lunar Classic look great though and the Manhattan in particular has a very striking modern look that would be cool for a young person IMO - the integrated bracelet and rectangular dial bring in a lot of different influences. Awesome dial colorways as well. How big is your wrist and what other watches do you have? Maen seems to run around $1K which isn't exactly entry level...there's a lot of amazing stuff out there for $1K! The Hudson is also nice but if you're looking for a dive or GMT watch there's a lot at that price point! One final question - how was the audio on my video? I used a lavalier mic and it seemed pretty good in my test runs... Regards, Matt
Hey Matt, thanks for the response and the feedback on Maen, Im pretty new when it comes to watches and currently have a simple Casio W218HD-1AV that my dad got me a couple weeks ago, it’s nice and does it’s job great, i’ve been enjoying it quite a bit so far. I’m not exactly sure how big my wrist is but I like how my Casio fits me. And the audio was great, i enjoyed the video alot. Thanks
