Maybe you could instead check out some of their more recent Extra XG next time, have been some really good ones some of my favorites are from the past few months it also feels like they are a lot more comfortable with the camera and everything compared to first ones. You could always go back and watch the older ones after u caught up with the newer ones, they upload Extra XG quite often so it would be almost impossible to catch up if u started from the beginning specially since they are a lot longer now some of them are even 30+ minutes.

@ 29:25 CORRECT! aside from dieting for the MV shoots, FNF doesnt impose dieting on the girls, for the MV it is necessary if you consider that the MV will feature the way they look forever so they must be in good shape that they would want to be in but after that FNF knows these girls are still growing so they provide lots of food and rest time specially after 10pm they cant work since most of them are minors.

Honestly, ateez-lore is one heck of a journey, and it's a LOT, haha. I know the base stuff but even I can't keep up with all of it, sorry. Simon explained in an interview with Goethe that his vision for XG was split into phases. At the time of their debut, he wanted to make sure XG was seen as a girl group that the public would expect, hence Tippy Toes and Mascara (phase 1). Then they started working on slowly releasing XG's uniqueness with New DNA (phase 2). The turning point of all of this was Woke Up, where they finally stopped hiding and are embracing their true alien forms. AWE is the start of phase 3 for XG.

Bros confused every song, asking so many questions like 😂 ateez with the hidden gems. But at 50:18 I get what you’re saying. Most groups go through a phase and that’s finding their group sound tbh. Ateez and stray kids have something in common where they’re musically so dynamic it’s hard for them to stick to one sound. I enjoy them bc I enjoy the process of production and quality when it comes to music and you can tell they put their all into their craft in all areas of any craft they do. I think that’s why a lot of people’s reaction to them is so different and fuels with questions bc they use so many sounds and string together so many different genres, they love to play with sound and shows their deep appreciation for music.

ITZY is my favorite group, and what i've learned over the years watching just about every ITZY content out there is that: First and foremost, they are decent humans, that truly adore each other. Chaeryeong is the sweetest idol in all of K-Pop, and they are all down to earth. They love their fans and make a real effort to please Midzy. They are top tier performers. I saw them in concert last year, and it was amazing. Say what you want about sneakers or cake, both are awesome live. They love their backup dancers and their dancers love them. They are respected in the industry by their peers. Any hate they receive is so forced. There is a small handful of groups out there that wouldn't kill to have the same success as ITZY has. I really feel that, in the future (5-10 years down the line), they will be one of the last 4th gen groups standing in an industry that true longevity is enjoyed by very few groups. They truly deserve everything.

looking back you can definitely tell tippy toes and mascara were them trying to appeal to the Kpop audience. once they got that fanbase they really let themselves experiment and show us who xg really is. humble beginnings if you will!
