Thank you for the tutorial! Is there a way to adjust this pattern to use elastic at the head part instead of straps? I've also seen your other video on making the single layer bonnet without the bottom elastic, but I am unsure how to repeat that with double layer.

Then why didn't you use same witdth of the main fabric as the linen. I mean the waist measurement.

I agree with some of your points though I think the video repeated itself. As for your point about not plucking a price from the air for an item, a lot of successful businesses seem to do just that ... case in point, the cost of Air Jordans or Kanye West shoes is outrageous when the shoes likely cost no more than $1 to make yet people still spend millions or even billions buying them.

I don’t think the problem is as culture specific as it’s being portrayed. In fact, the woman complaining at first is indeed entitled and trying to point the finger at her race is playing a victimization routine. I see this across all millennials. Yes, there are the very rare examples that it doesn’t apply to, but the general population of millennials is guilty. First, they ALWAYS find something to ally themselves to so they can collectively play victim to try to put pressure on everyone and anyone to give them more without them actually applying themselves and earning more. Even in relationships, it exists. Millennial women want to have all the benefits of equality while somehow trying to hang on to benefits they believed they had before equality. The problem is that the younger people want to benefits from all while putting in minimal or no effort. Women expecting to have equal financial opportunities, yet demand that men support them while holding onto to their income. The examples are endless. If you want something or to achieve something, you must put in the effort and time to obtain it. When you sacrifice for something - that something is deserved when it’s achieved. I wouldn’t have given them each step to take to build success either. That information is earned and comes through experience and sacrifice. Even if I did tell you step by step, without the listener experiencing what it takes to get there - it will mean nothing. The information won’t make sense most likely without the experience of earning. Nothing is really appreciated if it isn’t earned. You have no right to someone else’s experience. You have no right to know what they know. Earn it. Offer them something they value if you want something of value. Victimization terms like oppression just add unnecessary and emotion into an experience that doesn’t belong there. If you feel oppressed and talk like that - oppressed you shall surely be. Why do people think that a person that put in the time and sacrificed to get to the top owes everyone else? Why would anyone believe they have a right to try to use your experience to avoid any sacrifice and just try to get there without it. Life - as well as anyone else - owes you nothing. What you want - you must earn. What you demand if another - you must have yourself. White people and black people are the same in this regard.
