How much does it cost for a new battery?
A battery is around $2000. This will save you around $8000 in fuel over the life of the battery.

Fail to tell us about charging plug 🔌
Sorry about that. You can plug this and all of our scooters into a standard 240v wall socket. You can charge the battery directly or via the charge port on the side of the scooter.

Interested in Duo for commuting, but not sure how the experience going to be when limited to 50kph. Is there a place (north of Brisbane area) where I can rent and give it a go?

Bro for 4-5k you can get yourself a street legal bike with double the speed and double the enjoyment. 5k is simply too expensive even if you want to justify it with a cost benefit analysis.
Horses for courses. Scooters are the best from of urban delivery vehicle and we are comparing between electric and petrol in this video.

The Duo with battery is 92kg. The max rider/payload is 175kg.

In Australia, the Duo is $4650 and the Duo+ is $5250 plus state based charges.
Thanks for the numbers. Another thing that I think is worth considering is solar. I usually do my delivery runs in the morning and get back with plenty of sun left to recharge my DUO+. Someone who rides and night might choose to not plug in until the sun comes up in the morning.
