Gates of Heaven Bali: Worth The Hype?
He didnt give an answer on where to go or which one is best. He just talks about both places.
Well I tried to give enough information for people to be able to make up there mind for themselves. I gave my opinion which for me is Hanoi, but I know everyone is different. Hope this helps some. Sorry if it wasn't clear enough of a video.
I’m planing a 17 day trip to Vietnam , Cambodia and Thailand. I was planing just 3 nights in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh. I think after watching your video I’m going to Hanoi 3 or 4 nights
I personally think you are making the best choice.
I CHOOSE DA NANG ,NHA TRANG and DA LAT CITY
I think you will be happy with that choice. All of those locations are beautiful in their own way.
Is this a G*rl Friendly hotel?
Your channel is amazing! Thank you.
Thank you so much for saying that. Sometimes I can get discouraged with RUclips, but comments like yours help me to keep going.
@@asianandcaucasianshow I make content!! And I'm discouraged already hahaha. Just doing TikTok rn 🥺. Believe me I GET YOU!! But your content, even the camera and light setup is pretty dope!! Keep going!!
@@angeldeviaje thank you again. It really does mean a lot to hear that. You keep it up as well 🙂
You deserve more subs.
Thank you. Hopefully that will be the case sooner than later haha.
Im going Hanoi and Da Nang in october, I'm not too interested in the walking street or drinking at night. Should i go Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi and Da Nang or Ho Chi Ming and Da Nang?
I feel like Hanoi and Da Nang would be a more unique experience. Ho Chi Minh City is a nice city, but it kinda just feels a little more generic in comparison.
Thank you for the tips 🎉
No problem! Glad you found them valuable.
So dated! My boarding school was more modern 20 years ago!
Yeah it definitely felt that way to me. Apparently there is a rich history to this place and I guess they want to preserve it, but it still feels like it could get some upgrades.
We plan on visiting next year in July (no choice, school's out :) ) ... is it so rainy that it will be a terrible idea?
I wouldn't say that. You may happen by some good weather. We had about 1 1/2 good weather days and we were in rainy season. Just don't be surprised if most of the time it isn't the island paradise you see in pictures. There is still fun to be had and things to do for sure.
Phu Quoc, Vietnam is now in top 2 of the best islands in the world, only after Maldives
Wow that's crazy!! I didn't know that! Thank you for sharing :)
Great video, but also very user unfriendly because I have no idea how to search for "Daa Laa" because you dont provide the names. Maybe add them to the description of the video if not in the video itself?
Sorry about that. Thank you for the advice. I will try to do better about that in the future. I will have to go back and see the places I mentioned and put it in a bin comment. Dalat is the place I think you are asking about.
🚨 Karen alert 🚨

I see you went to all the destinations in phu quoc even after rain so like everything is open in rainy season? Or does it close and then opens when weather is clear?? Was thinking to go in august. Thanks and your reply would be really appreciated ❤️❤️
From what I know most things stay open year round. They had a few closed beaches, but I am guessing the main attraction stay open. I don't want to say that for sure, but it was in the rainy season when we went and things were still open at least.
Does the rice ever go in thee beach 🏖 like an accident!?
Haha not entirely sure I understand the question. I am not aware of the rice going to the beach. Generally speaking they aren't grown very close to each other.
Nicely done vid altho to have shown names of places would be helpful.
Thank you! Yeah that is a good idea. I will probably try that in the future.
You are coming to the old quarter area in Hanoi, which is where many foreign tourists are. If you go further, you will see that Hanoi is like other cities.
Yeah it is always so hard to get a true sense of a place in such short time. That being said considering most of the people coming to visit as tourists are going to get a similar experience I still think it is valuable. I do alway wish I had more time and local access at a location though.
Smart people choose BALI
So you're calling people who chose Phu Quoc and Phuket dumb?
Vietnamies live in their country ,Americans in theirs motorised or standing cans .
A German friend told me this when I warn him about sth: "Nobody died".
Are you talking about the driving?
👍💛
Glad you liked it ☺
i think the problem is theg long wait time.
Yeah that is the biggest downside. I just think once we were there and the line was what it was.. we were able to make the best of it by hanging with the locals and other tourists. The time waiting didn't feel as much of a burden as I thought it would.
Yes it is. There's no pond or anything, they just use mirror. Scam on the highest level
Idk it was just a fun experience for us. I can see how you would feel that way though especially if you expected a pond. Sorry to hear it didn't work out 😔
that's called Smart, mr. Big M0uth 🤡
Thank you so much for the helpful info! I appreciated it.
Aww well thank you so much for watching and leaving the comment. I appreciate that for sure.
Bahi Honda is my favorite place .

That's awesome! It's a really fun experience in my opinion.

Totally unrelated but this info would help me a lot, please. I'm an online English teacher from Nigeria and I'm excited to be working with some students in Vietnam. I'm currently exploring the best payment platform to receive lesson fees. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on using local money agents in Vietnam. While it might be an option, I'm also open to hearing about other secure and efficient payment methods that work well for both Vietnamese students and international tutors like myself. I did some research and I discovered that some payment platforms are not accessible in Vietnam which is a little bit of a problem. Please what do you suggest? Thank you.
Hey sorry I'm not really sure. We have actually had struggles different times trying to transfer between Vietnam and America. We usually use Western Union, but not sure that will help any. A lot is done in cash in Vietnam... So much so even when you order from what I would consider their version of Amazon they have a pay in cash option. If I hear of anything I will try and let you know. If you figure it out before I do let me know. It's also possible that I am not in the age demographic that would know in Vietnam. Some of the younger kids may have a way that I am not aware of.
@@asianandcaucasianshowThanks! A friend recently recommended PayPal because it seems paypal works in Vietnam. Maybe that could work, not certain though but I'll give it a try.
Thank you for the info. We may have to give that a try ourselves. Good luck :)
Great.
Thank you ☺
Thanks for the video, love the sense of humour. I am visiting late July early August, I am not bothered about the rain as I live in a hot country all year round....is the rain warm though?
Thank you for watching. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Well pretty much all of Vietnam is warm so from what I can recall it wasn't cold rain. I mean we did go to the water park despite the rain so it was pretty warm. Now it can be a bit windy if storming so that may be a bit cool.
12 to 1500....you are getting ripped off. Stopped watching after that
Well I was trying to be conservative with my estimates because everyone's idea of quality of life is different. Of course you can get by with less, if you want to budget out everything. I did say a good comfortable life for 12 to 1500 a month so I was including accommodations, food, and fun. Also I do have a family so maybe my view is a bit skewed towards the higher side. Anyway sorry you didn't find value. Hope you find the right video for you.
@@asianandcaucasianshow Such a genuine guy and such a nice comment. You have my like, dont listen to the naysayers.
@@QuadraAce I appreciate you saying. It means a lot.
mui ne beaches now, according to recent reports, littered with plentiful garbage
Oh wow... Thank you for the update. It wasn't too long ago we went. That's terrible to hear.
Hanoi was incredibly unique and definitely want to go back there. I've been to Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei, etc. If I'm going to Vietnam, I'm not going for a typical Asian city experience. I'm going there for the culture, food, sightseeing, and anything unique that other countries don't offer. Phu Quoc was also very nice. That island is definitely touristy, but nice beach vibes
Yeah I absolutely agree. To me Hanoi felt more uniquely Vietnam, but I have been more places off the beaten path too and I have to say Vietnam is actually a pretty hard to nail down as one thing. There are a lot of different types of geography and people living there.
Try coron, siargao or balabac all from Philippines
Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) like Beijing and Hongkong, Communism and Capitalism.
Is HCMC vs Hanoi kinda like BKK vs Chiang Mai?
Honestly not sure. I haven't been to Chiang Mai. I can see the comparison of BKK and HCMC though. I'd say BKK might be slightly more developed in some ways at least as far as road systems are concerned, but HCMC is getting there for sure.
Do you have any advice taking the sleeper train from HCM to Hanoi? I'm really interested for my research before traveling there.
Yes I have a little insight into that. I have not taken the sleeper train all the way there, but I did take it to Mui Ne, from Ho Chi Minh and back. First I will say that if you are booking your ticket be sure to go directly to the railway website. There are other 3rd party sites that look like the website, but are more expensive and have less options. I don't believe RUclips will let me post the link, but I am going to write is out with a dot instead of the (.) so hopefully it will get through (dsvn dot vn).. if you can't find it google Vietnam Train Website and go to wikipedia. At the bottom of wiki page you can find the official booking website link. Now as far as other advice. If you have are prone to motion sickness, the train may not be the best bet for you. Especially the sleeper cabin. The way they had the beds arranged made you rock from head to feet instead of side to side. I personally was fine and only felt a little off, but my wife got pretty sick. The other thing I will say is depending on the amount of time you are spending in Vietnam a plane may be a better bet. It is more expensive, but it will take you only a 1h 25min vs 17h 14min. Usually the plane tickets are relatively inexpensive in comparison to most countries so personally I would spend $30-60 more and save a day. If you just want the experience though, maybe you want to stop at different locations a long the way, or you are there for a long time and are budget constrained go for it. Sorry for the book. I hope some of this helps. If you have any more questions let me know and I will do my best to answer.
4:08 when he said "I do", it almost sounded like he said "a đụ" from frustration 🤣 I think he's making progress as a foreigner! Vietnamese is TOUGH when you start from scratch! (Saying from experience😉)
Hahaha just looked up what that means. Maybe I was subconsciously channeling curse words in Vietnamese.
at which time in morning have you reached there?
It's been a minute, but I believe we got there around 730 or 8-ish from what I can remember.
We cant see shit cause you only show yourselfm fucking youtubers
Nice
Thank you 😊
I have a question about this temple , question is how you click this types photo ,with out water
It's actually the workers there that take the picture for you with your phone. They hold up a very reflective piece of marble right underneath the camera and it gives the effect. I thought it was pretty awesome how they did it.
Keep going so next time we'll have a conversation in Vietnamese 😂👍👍
Hahaha I will try. I've gotten better over the years, but still definitely no where near conversational status. I appreciate your faith in me though.
Saigon and Hanoi are VERY different, including cultures and society. Good and bad things in both. You have to visit both to know which one suits you.
For sure. They have a completely different vibe about them. I definitely think both are a must visit, if you have the time.
Anyone heading to Vietnam soon? I'm a digital marketer/web designer on the lookout for like-minded people to team up with. I am excited to get a lot of work done.
