Also on dry riding is like a rule for imp so you should have gotten riding before capturing the village so it is cheaper and then get ws in city
Hey bro a very imprtant thing with imperius is it gets 100% resource distribution around villages so dont explore on tiles with no resources

I've played a lot versus the computer and feel like I'm fairly good, but never played a multiplayer match. at 7:27 I feel like it would've been better to take the village with the warrior standing in the back and moving the warrior standing in the front to the left for extra free movement.

Great video and nice gameplay! The only real mistake I noticed was getting Forestry on turn 5 since you didn't need it to upgrade Mamusnu. Instead you could have gotten Archery and train an archer in Resica

As a 1700 imperius player i would have bought way more riders and gotten roads earlier instead of hunting forestry to try gain a tactical advantage in the two neutral city stand off and you may have even been able to snipe a shaman But good vid

I have 1453 elo ranking and i want to give you Some tips: 1dont't get so much techs they are expensive and with imperius you usually dont go for foresty but for riding and farming in the early game and you should also get more different units espesially Rüdersdorf are streng in the early game or games on small Maps p.s. can you Play another tribe in your next video. ❤❤

Click on the city and see how many stars it makes, you’ll be able to know if he used a explorer or not
And you can See it if there is not a smithery Thingy in the City

Let's go, a new polytopia content creator! We need more of these :) Edit: i feel like most of the mistakes were already pointed out, but at 10:28 it was actually better not to upgrade, since you lost 1 star from it and gained no income since it was sieged. If you had that 8th star in this case (what a good case, normally 1 star doesn't matter much), you'd be able to get a catapult without chopping that forest. But still better than the wall, since raychi can explode, taking all your defense bonus away. So generally: you don't want to upgrade your city if you know that it'll get sieged, unless it's to level 2 and you feel like the explorer would pay off.

@@polytopiaplays Damn! Your scouts were so useless, lol. Sorry about that. But the game made up for it by giving you a great starting location and GREAT ruins for that location. Good game :) I don't think, based on the map location and ruins, I could've done anything to win. I couldn't challenge you on water, and with my cities the way they were, I wasn't going to be able to hold off your giant from taking my capital (or one of your multiple 20 hp swordsmen). What do you think, could I have altered my fate? :)

Yeah.
In the early game you should have gone diagonal with your warrior - more information revealed that way and you would have been at the village a turn earlier. The warrior towards the lighthouse was much too early - you were not ready to upgrade, so it gave you nothing. If you sent it north after your second warriro you would have gotten your fourth village multiple turns earlier. You got sawmill tech but weren't ready to use it - defenders and aquaculture would both have been stronger. Defenders across their landbridge would have given you a favorable star trade and blocked their hexapods. Then use rammers to establish naval superiority, give space to eco, and then eventually you can get bombers and win.

Will do! Unfortunately Polytopia has only history of last 5 games so I lost few epic long battles but I will try to play something longer. 👍🏻
If you arent using the tech or capturing a village, don't buy the tech, save it for next turn, as you might have to change your strategy, in this case when you got forestry
Thanks that’s a good one!🤜🏻 I generally know this but I keep forgetting about it. In case of anchery that gives you defends bonus and you have a units in forest it may be good, right? Otherwise is probably better spent stars in different way.
