Same girl, I have high density fine hair and learning how to braid my own hair took time, but it changed my life. I used to pay to get them done, till I cheap't out a bit and got horrible braids that looked like chicken nuggets on my head LOL. I paid the girl, went home and sat my butt down and watched braiding RUclips videos. A few years later, I constantly get asked who did my hair, I love your hair ect... Cuz I do it exactly how I want, I'm gentle with my hair, I make sure it's actually protective and my hair has grown so much and it's all gucci. I promise girl, the best investment you'll make in your hair, will be to be self sufficient and knowing how to braid or do ur own hair 🙏🏼. Love your channel, so glad you uploaded today 😊❤️😂

What is the content of the music? I would rather listen to Bach's Air from the G String than to modern "Christian" music.

I have recently fallen back into this sin but found this video and repented. I listen to christian music but want more recommendations on who is out there sing about Christ. I love music with a passion. Listen to christian artists on the radio but want more different people instead of the same ones. Do you have any recommendations for me?

Thank you for addressing this. God put on my heart several years ago to stop ALL secular music. The only time I would really listen to it is when I would workout and I never thought twice about it. The music is truly powerful and affects your mind and mood. It's incredible how powerful the beats are and how it can make you feel happy even when you know the lyrics are horrible and don't glofity God. I enjoyed all kinds of music such as Madonna, Prince, TLC, and a bunch of others. I basically listened to whatever gave me the "power" to get through tough workouts and to be honest I felt fine and good and happy so it's weird and I'm always tempted to give in. Thank you again.

When you say not all secular music is bad, you have to be careful. Someone in a comment said it, the song may not say anything bad, it could be jazz or anything else, but if the artist isn't for God, then he's against him.

New Subbie😊❤. I remember getting convicted from listening to secular music and using social media.... YIKES. But it hrlped purify my mind and heart. I think much clearer. Ive stopped watching many shows. That must have been by far the most hard. Then the Holyt said watch, "Be sensitive to what you're reading too." NOW THIS IS HARD. Not that I read spicy books.

Hello! Wow! That was an awesome message! Thank you for sharing! When I was a teen- LOL- about 42 years ago- music was one subject that helped me along to getting saved and becoming a born again Christian at age 17. I’m so thankful for an assistant manager that shared these Firefighters for Christ cassette tapes with me. He was sharing the gospel and I’m ever so thankful. One of the tapes titles was Hell’s Bells and that is the first time the Lord revealed to me that there is more to music than just a good beat or sound. When I went to Bible school, I learned so many different beautiful hymns. I still remember the old hits that I use to listen to in the 70s- Bee Gees, Bay City Rollers, Andy Gibb etc. Our town church now plays secular songs which is very strange feeling to my spirit. I think they are using that to attract a large audience. That’s why I was wondering on other Christian opinions on secular music. We use to go to that church but haven’t stepped in there for a very long time. On Sunday nights, we watch Rejoice in the Lord and their music is phenomenal. They play a lot of hymns, Christian songs, and wonderful music from the choir and solos. I feel more edified by them than listening to the secular music in the church. Any thoughts on that- why some churches lean toward secular music? Love to hear your thoughts.

This really resonated with me, as I watch this. I am currently preparing for my spiritual growth. Starting with the removal of secular music, TV shows, movies, etc. The Lord has gradually been removing my taste for things of the world. I know in my spirit that I am going to be set apart. I even prayed 🙏🏾 asking the Lord to prepare and send me Godly friendships. I've started attending church service in person, because my heart and soul have been long for the Lord. I know its a process and I have faith the Lord will see me through.

Thank you so much. I really needed this. I was told that french music was secular too. And I didn't know that it was talking about vulgar stuff until I found out about one of the french artists songs 'Room 69' and it was talking about oral sex and two people making out passionately in the dark. It was so scary and secular. The secularism has to stop. But anyway, thank you so much for helping me stop listening to worldly music. From Nicholle Lawson to an angel like u. The best things for me is to leave all this secular ,wordly music behind , all these music are influence by spirits , the spirit that covers the songs is the thing we are to be careful with
