That’s why there’s grooves. Besides, it’s the bottom of the club head that’s important. The bounce angle. Higher degree° bounce pushes more sand in front of the face, lifting the ball upwards. A perfect bunker shot never touches the ball. ⛳️

That’s illegal. You can take a practice swing around a bunker and get sand on your club that way legally but cannot touch the sand in a bunker unless it’s to hit the ball.

Everything about this is ridiculous. You get the good ol Circle Around the X.

You would never need the ball to stop up on a pin position like that. You arent hitting the ball hard enough here to make any spin really that relevant. Balls that you see spin and stop up are spinning 1000's of rpms. A small chip shot like this and the ball will be spinning only a few 100 rpm. Youd have to really hit it quite hard and flop the ball in the air to get spin to do anything. And sand and dirt is never gonna help. It is not like sand paper. You have small rocks on a flat surface making imperfections. This is just you hitting a good shot. That sand didn't do anything for you.
