Unfortunately, the solution I provided may not work on Windows 11 as the operating system is different. However, I can suggest trying the following steps: 1.Click on the Start menu and search for 'regedit'. 2.Right-click on 'regedit' and select 'Run as administrator'. 3.Navigate to the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2020\Recent File List. 4.Right-click on the Recent File List key and select 'Permissions'. 5.In the Permissions dialog box, make sure that your user account has full control. 6.If you still experience issues deleting the recent file list values, you may need to close Dreamweaver CC 2020 and try deleting the values again.

@@eWaySol Thank you for following up. I went to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Dreamweaver > Recent File List ...for some reason I was now able to delete the Recent Files there. Upon opening Dreamweaver those recent Files are no longer shown, but those Recent Files have just reappeared in the Registry even though they are not shown when opening Dreamweaver. It's a mystery, but at least they are no longer shown when opening Dreamweaver. Thank you again for your helpful video and assistance.

It's possible that Dreamweaver is automatically adding those files back into the registry when it is opened, even though they are not displayed in the recent files list. One possible solution is to try disabling the recent files feature in Dreamweaver altogether. To do this, you can go to Preferences > General and uncheck the "Remember Recent Files" option. This should prevent Dreamweaver from adding any recent files to the registry. If you still want to use the recent files feature but don't want those files to appear in the registry, you can try setting the registry keys to read-only. To do this, right-click on the "Recent File List" key in the registry editor, select "Permissions", and then check the "Read" box for your user account. This should prevent Dreamweaver from modifying the values in the key. However, please note that this may have unintended consequences, so use this solution at your own risk. I hope this helps! ​@@eWaySol Thank you for following up. I have the latest up-to-date version of Dreamweaver. Interestingly there is no "Remember Recent Files" option under the General tab or under any of the other tabs in the latest version. I just now deleted the Dreamweaver files shown in the "Recent Files" in the registry. It cleared them from the Dreamweaver app front-end and also now for some reason they no longer show in the registry as they were doing previously. It's not that big an issue. From here on in, I will just follow the directions outlined in your video. Anyway, much thanks for your information and ideas...appreciated.
