The graven image shames Christ by depicting Him with long, shaggy hair, which is contrary to 1Cor.11:14, and the halo behind its head is the symbol of the Egyptian sun god Ra. It's an insult to all faithful redeemed Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and obey His Commandments.

God is powerful enough to completely wipe Satan from existence, but he doesn't for a good purpose.

Satan will die, just not now. First the antichrist will be thrown into the lake of fire. After that, satan will be second. Jesus will always remain victorious
