It's like the joke equivalent of when someone with absolutely no media literacy skills insists that a work of fiction should spell out every single thing for them in plain english so they never get confused because inferring things from context is impossible.

Went through loads of comments to check, and didn't see anyone who noticed that the image used after the reveal is, specifically, a shaggy dog. That's what we in the industry call a visual pun.

This video had me go through a whirlwind of emotion. You made my day.

This is my favourite kind of joke, this is a great reference for the types of jokes I love to do, thank you for this wonderful meta-joke on the classic set up of "a horse walks into a bar" where yes there is the face value punch-line that uses the word play of paw and pa', as in father. There is also the numerous meta set ups and punch-lines that exist beyond the surface level interperetation, those being the set up of the first have of the video using the implication of the common structure to use a horse as the animal of the joke, then the later subversion that the joke relates to an animal that has a paw specifically a dog. As well as the many more other quick punch lines, like the irrelavent nature of the creature's gender, the lack of cleanliness with an open wound on a food surface, the fact that the leg injury would change an animals walking into limping, the emphasis on the importance of the animal's ability to speak. These together with the repetiavenes and apperent(whether actual or not) uncertainty of the delivery makes this one of, if not, my favourite single video with 1 overarching punchline joke on youtube currently

Quite a rollercoaster of a joke here. The emotions I felt included: -Intrigue -Amusement -Discomfort -Second hand cringe -Frustration -Despair -Regret -Apathy -Relief when it finally ended I didn't know it was possible to feel relief directly after apathy.
