Hole-in-the-wall Inn, mere blocks from Historic downtown Ocala. A bit noisy due to traffic on S. Pine St. and the Firestone Auto Repair facility across the street, but still a really neat place to stay.

Not too difficult to install. Had to fashion mounts for the rear. Used the supplied bracket for the front. I expect that the rubber bands that hold the brackets to the bike will eventually fail. I will find an alternative. The primary objective is to allow for longevity of the devices in a harsh environment. I have materials that I think will provide for a Pelican-case-like box. It will be fugly, but it should suffice.

Corbin Smuggler 2001 VFR800

Installing a Corbin Smuggler on my 2001 Honda VFR800. Had to shim the latch to get it to lock to the bike, and had to add strips of inner tube to the places on the trunk mount where there was rubbing, but it’s a snug fit and a comfortable seat.

Do you still have your Setec DC charger? I have a Setec V2H to connect to my 62Kw Nissan Leaf.

Was the J1772 adapter included in original purchase? Exact name of the adapter since its rather tricky to find online.
Did you ever get this to work?
Yeah. I had to pull up on the connector slightly until comms was established and finished handshaking, then it would charge. It is a known GM issue, as the Bolt EV also suffers from it.
How can I find theese saddle bags?

You're lucky I didn't start singing along. LOL! I updated the description with links. I created the wire harness out of color-coordinated 14-ga wire; it runs up the left side of the bike and is heavily insulated. Lots of shrink tubing and soldering. Fun project and still working perfectly...well, one connector (horn) detached itself so I had to pull the fairing off and repair it, but I needed to replace the fairing bolts and plastic nuts, anyways, so...

I have the bolt CSV downloaded, how do i get it to show up in the list?
And should i use the volt or bolt? Or both csv? I mainly just want the rpm gauge
*update* i ended up just using the bolt ev csv file and everything i need works fine. Really happy with this. Especially the horsepower as a line graph, it snapshots hp at the peaks so you can read it from far away. I can't explain it, but just try it you'll love it. Also the RPM gauge works great also. I recommend setting max rpm display to 4500 so it's more readable.

Yes.
The cooling pump absorbs a significant amount of energy, effectively lengthening charging time from an L2 source. I've seen it draw 2 kW; when the car is already hobbled by its measly 3.3 kW onboard AC charger, one finds oneself sitting for 4 - 5 hrs on road trips, waiting...waiting...waiting. The Setec changes that...

I'm in the midst of a project building a similar adapter, you are using. Done a test with a USA version BMW i3 and a European ABB Terra fast charger. The car and the charger "see" each other, but the charger was lacking a signal from the car as "ready to charge". So it's for my curiosity.

Do you have a metal plate on back of you’re phone? How’s the charging? Fast/slow? And does it withstand potholes and big bumps? What’s you’re pros and cons?
My iPhone 5S is in a Qi charging case. Only the most violent bumps knock the phone off the AirDock. Otherwise, it works brilliantly. I use my iPhone as a WiFi hotspot when I'm in the car; the Qi case is limited to 600mA max and easily charges the iPhone. Never had problems.
