No wonder Marcus beat them here, that new opener was rough timing wise. The whole front half felt pretty shaky. They really cleaned it up for nats though.
@gaarafan02 Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre... absolutely beautiful. I think a few others have done it on the marching field now; it was a vocal piece that has been arranged for band and is available in concert band form. He changes note values from the first phrase to the end so that his theory is to control how the audience breathes with the music.
@oscarlovesimsgames The bands in the Dallas area in general are dominating though for about the last decade. Look at Marcus, Richland, Hebron, Argyle, Aledo, Mesquite Poteet, it is arguably the strongest area in the nation, beyond just LD Bell.
whoa...............i've never heard the song at 7:00 used in a marching show before. i wish i could i remember it's name!! they make it sound so good though. even when they're moving. I can't imagine what it would sound like if they played it during concert season
As a 1996 LD Bell Band alumnus, I'm ashamed to see you running around posting snotty comments about other bands. BOA is not "LD Bell's turf." Maybe I should call up the band directors and see if this kind of stuff is encouraged now. It was NOT in my day.

Walter Jackson Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre
Kingfisher's Catch Fire! Love that piece.
@LDBellBand012 i meant like their drumline sucks compared to the band..... the drumline like is completly average. YA!!!
ive noticed theyre guard is so awsome.....but they dont do any weapons......
their drumline is not worthy of this band...
OMG i love this cause pan's labryith is my favorite movie
Not used to seeing a show end without a bang.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone, but that is a slap in the face to Marcus HS. Even with the whole "it is a video Resoponse to..."
its funny cuz LD BELL didn't even win this regional. HA!
cheatubriand yea but they went on to win Grand Nationals with this show!!
and so it happens with reagan and vandegrift in 2019
Classy... =(
