That McLaren has made a very big step in Miami. I think it's a genuine contender for Redbull at this stage, dependent on track type and how the development progresses this year. I thought the closing of the gap would be down to a big step from McLaren and Redbull turning to look towards their 2025 car, however the introduction of upgrades to the Redbull makes me think that Mclaren may actually have out-developed Redbull in this instance. Very impressive from them, that team really has pulled together in the last 5 years or so. As an Aussie myself, I can only hope Piastri continues to develop his racecraft and tyre management, allowing him to perform late race like Lando can. Lando is a top-tier talent, it takes a lot to make Max enjoy a win these days.
