The OEM midpipe that comes with the MPPSK exhaust has no resonators and is slightly bigger in diameter compared to the base exhaust.

pretty sure it's controlled, if you blip the throttle from idle it revs fast but after that it slows down.

also heavier crakshaft and flywheels (for 6mt)

OEM V-Band was used. Check yours, as it might need to be changed due to wear/age.

There are some instances of a little rattle when on the gas with valves closed. This is the same sound we hear even with other downpipes we've tried.

Hey Fiddel, look at the linkage that holds the valve actuator on. It was loose on mine 16' 340i and was causing that rattle!

@@bhamm96 Appreciate the suggestion, I tried that and I believe the mppsk actuators are different and don’t have that clip you usually see people having issues with (unless I somehow didn’t see them but I took the casing off the actuator)

@@razor2524 No it doesn't. N55 has a less rapsy tone to it more on the deeper side. B58 sounds more clear though imo

It all comes down to personal preference. From what we've seen, the ARM 6" sounds the best for a catless option with MPPSK. Comfort mode is still quiet, almost like stock. It is loud in Sport/+, especially when you step on it! Really sounds amazing.

@@bmgperformancebro I was this close to buying the DAW or MAD catless Downpipe, until I ran into your video 😩 now I’m confused. I also got a M performance exhaust but not MPPSK because it’s a f22

I installed this downpipe the other day, it sounds really throaty and deep in person. You can really hear the turbos too, and at low RPM the exhaust note is still pleasant unlike other smaller down pipes. I highly recommend!

6 inch seems like overkill to me. I've got a 4.5 inch on my 340i, thats the size of the turbine outlet.

@@Superb_Owl80honestly curious to see the difference between on 4.5 and a 6 on hybrid or single setup.

@@2CAINEF3Xyea I think you’ll really only see a difference with a bigger turbo setup, even then when you go big single it’s usually a custom down pipe, I’m sure this 6’ offers a subtle audio difference and minimal performance gain stock turbo.

@@xlugoz Got it installed saturday night. This thing sounds like a diesel motor and i love it. I have non Mppsk exhaust and it’s amazing. stuck between an electric cut out or going custom res and maybe small muffler. or maybe both lol. just love that natural b58 incline tone

I have a very similar kit and yes you can. I daily mine with the methanol (80 meth/20 water) with 93 and the few times I would've ran out of methanol, I was able to turn of the meth pump and run my usual tune for 93 without issues.
