So I just rented a Model Y for a weekend roadtrip. (First time driving a Tesla by the way.) One of the things I noticed was that I couldn't get the Model Y find any Superchargers near me. Every time I went into navigation and searched for super chargers, it always tried routing me to superchargers that were 60+ miles away from me, and not on the route I was on (so completely out of my way). First time this happened, I thought it was maybe some sort of fluke that Tesla didn't have the SCs in Sequim WA updated into their nav, but then this happened in Forks, and Aberdeen, and Olympia, and Tacoma as well. Throughout this entire time with the Model Y, I had to search out SCs with google on my phone, and then manually enter the address into the Tesla nav. I seriously have no idea what's going on there. But if that's the SC experience, what a pain in the backside!!! I wasted more time trying to find superchargers than I did even charging. Also, I've heard/seen a lot of people on YT talking about how great the SC experience is, how you just get out, grab a bite, go to the bathroom. But most of these SC I went to, had no such services available. So you were stuck there monitoring your vehicle, and then after you sat there waiting however long it was going to be (40ish minutes), you then had to go find food and a bathroom on top of that. So this argument that you have to stop anyway, so you just charge while you're stopped, definitely does not seem to be the real life experience. After spending four days straight with the car, it really feels like a lot of what you see discussed on YT is a very "curated" point of view. Like people only talk about how things are when they go "right," not how things work out 80% of the time. I was wondering if you had any thoughts or comments on any of this. Perhaps I'm just missing something.

I switched to an iphone 2 years ago and I can say it is not that bad. Boring even on ios 18 but reliable especially the battery and optimization however if given a chance I would like to have the Fold 6.

Apple all day. My secondary cell is an iphone XS Max from 2018. Still works like new. latest updates and gets me thru a whole day on the original battery. That and being able to text androids and Iphones from any Mac of mine is a done deal. I have degoogled my life and its great. I could give two shits about customization. Im tooo busy to care about that. I have saved a few thousand dollars at least with the longevity with iphones. And I can easily afford the newest iphone every year. why bother? $800 iphone has lasted me 7 years flawlessly Do the math folks. And times that by two phones. My iphone 13 pro max still has 92% battery health. Works like new and it will become my secondary phone saving a 1000$ every year. What android user is rocking and daily driving and depending on a phone from 2018?
