I didn't even know the color existed. I was looking for white or one of the grays. Sales girl showed me the beauty I got and I fell in love.

Just got the windows tinted too. 25%. We have the same car. Lol. Did windshield also. 80% ceramic for blocking uv and some heat. Trying to do everything I can to protect this precious baby. Gonna get headlights wrapped soon too, I think

Also got Tuxmat brand floor mats. You should check them out if you're in the market for new floor mats. Super classy looking, and tough. $200 tho for the full set. Highly recommend tho. They look great.

I always let it run for atleast 5 minutes but generally I let it run for a full remote start cycle which is 15 minutes.

Nope no check engine light.

My brother bought a ‘22 Elantra N last year and his headlight did the same thing 3 months after he bought it. He had to wait 2 weeks for a replacement headlight.

I had it replaced under warranty it took 3 months for them to get the light.

Nice bro. I think the color your are talking about is Siberian Ice. I was actually originally getting that color but my local dealership had one with black interior but grey roof liner. I ain’t want that. So I ended up with Tasman and Dune (Peanut Butter) seats. I only had rear mufflers removed. I did not touch mids because I was in fear of drone. No down pipes yet. I have added a few things since this was done. Thanks 🙏 for supporting the channel.

That’s not what cold start means kid. Cold start refers to the motor being cold after sitting for x amount of time.

my cars turbo blew up right when it hit 2000 miles its been at the service over a month

They replaced mine under warranty. Dealer first tried to ask if I modified the light. I was like um to do what? 😂 anything to save a buck I guess.

They replaced mine under warranty was well don’t let them tell you otherwise this is a default on the newer models with the new quad headlights. Make sure the seal the new one when they replace it as well

The local exhaust shop at the time just removed the rear mufflers and replaced them with straight pipe.

They replaced it free. They did kind of hesitate. Tried to insinuate that I had done something to it. In the end they replaced it but it took 4 months for them to get the part and they did not put the front fascia back on correctly.

It's not bad at all. The car is pretty well insulated.

It does sound very sporty when driving. People compliment the exhaust sound all the time. I'm not truly sure about any gains. I added cold air intakes right after.

@@twinturboaddict Install the lap3 tune it works with the Kia stinger and the Genesis g70 since they're the same platform. Theres already one on youtube with the pops and crackle tune set to 3500rpms. If you want i can link it.

@@MJT-DA I don’t know how I missed your comment but I actually opted out of lap3 because of warranty for the time being. I did put a jb4 and cold air intakes though. 450 whp in this golf car sized vehicle is fun.

I was not aware, as the paint on my 2018 Dodge Charger and 2020 Honda Civic both have held up extremely well considering their age in comparison to the 2022 Genesis G70.

@@twinturboaddict I understand. Any premium paint is a soft paint by default, the more expensive the paint, the softer it likely is. Mass produced brands use paint with much lower complexity and are able to potentially spray additional coats of paint, thus "being more durable" This may also be a harder and thicker clear coat applied to the vehicle. You could also measure the depth of the paint! This may provide a bit of insight. I would also ensure it wasn't a rough road or road construction debris hitting your vehicle, versus just minor rock chips. In any event, I would consider some type of clear bra protection

@@killerjhul I was already considering a clear bra but I may just do a full wrap. The depth to eye looks immensely thin. I know it exactly how it happened and that would be user error. It was while washing it. I use a green power pressure washer only 1500psi but I got too close I guess. I like the paint dodge is using. I know that "white knuckle" holds up well.

@@twinturboaddict rookie move! You're never supposed to spray directly to paint! That's a lot of power in one tiny area. I'm surprised you didn't peel more. Step 1. Deciding if touch up or body shop can address the situation. Step 2. Determine what you want wrapped. Cost versus front bumper, hood. Aside from that, sharp car, great color.

I never had an issue with this machine and my other vehicles. I mentally noted not to directly spray it. I took it by a local body shop here in Montgomery Alabama but the guy quoted me $650. I passed needless to say. I'm no terribly cheap I just felt that he was excessive on price. I am comfortable wrapping it myself. So I'll save a bit there on labor. I did my previous car, the charger and wife's civic.
