Unfortunately I am visually impaired to the point of complete blindness, so I can't see what's going on here. But, am I correct in thinking that this is basically a ridiculously oversized version of an IPod/mp3 player, with huge built-in speakers? What a cool idea, even though it's totally impractical (by today's standards)! You definitely will not be putting this in your clothes pockets like you would with the usual, miniature mp3 players we're more familiar with. Kind of reminds me of the boomboxes we had back in the day, except this is a modern version of that.

nice project. I'm curious, which version of the FFT library did you use to get such precise frequency analysis as your RUclips video shows after 8:12? With the current FFT v. 2.0 it doesn't work so well. Something flashes somewhere in sync with the music. but by no means recognizable frequencies

Tinted glass should be used as a light filter in front of the LED matrix to increase contrast. Why did you stick the LED strip on this glass?

видимо, д.б. вторая часть, где автор нажимая на клавиши, пишет и отлаживает софт, это часов на 40 минимум, если не на 100. и третья, где объясняет алгоритм, это, если от школьного уровня, минимум на 400 часов. т.о. для меня осталась загадкой целевая аудитория ролика:( кст, автор пользуется китайским (что нормально) паяльником на 220в. пара винтиков на паяльнике держат нагреватель и жало, и означают, что он не паяльная станция. т.о. нет гальваноразвязки между сетью и жалом, при 25 градусах сопротивлегие корпус-сетевая вилка ~ 10мегом, при 250 градусах <1мегома. т.о. автор касаясь паяльником деталей, подаёт на них 220в от сети через слпротивление меньше 1 мегома. такая деятельность возможна дома при погашенном свете. выносить такой стиль работы на всеобщее обозрение, чревато проявлениями безграмотной небрежности следующими поколениями. если зритель ещё молод и собирается найти работу в высокооплачиваемых отраслях, производящих или ремонтирующих военное, медицинское, транспортное, промышленное оборудование, ему следует иметь в виду, что в подобных случаях без исключения применяют только гальваноразвязанные от сети (пусть самые дешёвые ~20$) паяльные станции с проконтролированным заземлением. итак, для какой аудитории и в каких целях создано данное видео?

You can save money by using plywood as the backboard instead of the expensive perspex. If you use perspex, then at least use it as the front cover.
