What I love about Play is that every time the maids 'play' it live they change different aspects of the song so every performance is unique. This recording was shot at Line Cube Shibuya in Tokyo, which coincidentally is going to be the venue for the first maid's tour date in 2025 on May 10th (Maids Day).

Going to a Band Maid performance means you will be expected to participate. You have to know your responsibilities. Here’s what you have to memorize for your first Band Maid Okiyuji: “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah La, la-la, la-la, la-la Whoa-oh-oh-oh La, la-la, la-la, la-la” I’m working on an analysis of the meaning behind this poetry 😏

There is only one song you can do after this one, and that is Domination from the same concert. It starts where this song ends. Poor audience. They must have been exhausted.

Band Maid does not have a bad song, the more you delve into them the more you'll realize it. If you want to hear something totally different and beautiful please watch ABOUT US, a song written to the fans during the pandemic lockdown. You won't regret it.

If you like hard rock with a Motorhead vibe, I suggest you react to Band-Maid's "Moratorium" and/or "Clang", both the official live videos of each song. The songs will have you want to get in your auto, crank up the stereo to max, and exceed the speed limit.
