Another comment: My CFI put in my DNA procedures - flaps&lights goeas together. Just saying L)
The only concern I have is the speed of the execution- its sooooo slow. And another one is that there is a step where you have to check breakers, why you checking and touching them multiple times? )
Thank you. Why at 0:42 the breaker of MFD is pulled ?
Thank You, for you Nice, clear and very help full demo.
I have my Discovery Flight tomorrow!!!Im so exited !!
im so bothered by the ATC clearances... ahahhaa 260 11knots...... wheres the "cleared for touch and go" ? HAHAAH
I guess it's an uncontrolled airfield in Germany. So there are no clearences.
that sound 😍😍😍😍
I would say , this is one of the best DA40 video i hv been watched 👍 Thank u for making such a great video !
Yes I think so
The stall warning of the DA40 is very very sensitive ;)
May I ask why its needed to pull the MFD circuit breaker? Also where can one acquire a copy of your checklist?
the owner wants to protect the mfd from any overload whilst engine startup
Thank you so much.
What about: "rotate" ? ;-)
taking off with stall warning is to bad
that was good video. i want to fly this plane sometime
You are a good and safe pilot.
Nice aircraft, is the seat adjustable for small people?
No. The seat is fixed, but the rudder pedals are adjustable.
Thank you for this very detailed video, I'm flying in a DA40 next week, this video has been very helpful!
Outstanding quality, good pédagogy and good tempo
Tnx...it's great!
If doing circuits why did you not set QFE on altimeter. Regards John.
Man, this guy must get paid by the hour.
Where can I buy a checklist like this one for the DA40 ?
This video is great! I wanted to ask what kind of recording device did you use, how did you mount it, and how do you hear you radio communications? sorry, I just started flying the da40 and i'm a newb!
Too slow
"3 circuits, delta kilo uniform" ;)
Great job nice ✈️✈️✈️
Hello, this is a nice checklist. Do you perhaps have a copy of it?
Ich liebe pernzlau
that controller did a shitty job of clearing you for take-off
It's not a tower-controlled airfield. It's the pilot's responsibility here, not that of the "radio" operator.
umm.. taxi check?
After takeoff it sounds like the stall warner going off a few times?
the plane is at a very high AoA immediately after rotation so this happens from time to time
@@robmancuso7600 AND the speed is not in the green range, while the flaps are already up! It's still in the white range (meaning: flaps should still be used) for quite a while...
Quite useful video, thanks. You always trimmed with the trim wheel, right? (And not with the Manual Electric Trim = MET).
Oh that's cool! Must be really convenient to have FADEC
Question.... Why pull the MFD breaker? also transponder 7000ALT??
The owner of the aircraft wants to pull the MFD circuit breaker to prevent the MFD being damaged by possible Voltage peaks during startup. Transponder 7000 is standard for VFR flights in Germany.
And the ALT? Is that a German SOP I Know some airports want XPNDER to be on ALT but most will want you to be on GND or STBY
It is not a standard operations procedure in Germany. According to the G1000 manual an automatic transponder mode is available that sets your transponder to GND on ground and ALT when you become airborne. But maybe it is for better visibility at bigger airports. See this article: www.flyingmag.com/technique/tip-week/use-correct-transponder-mode
Why pull the MFD CB prior to engine start?
The owner of the aircraft wants to pull the MFD circuit breaker to prevent the MFD being damaged by possible Voltage peaks during startup.
The power of ownership :) Extend the AFM with custom-made instructions at any time.
that's silly.
All of the check list is weird saw a lot of missing steps
@@cessnawings That's idiotic..... A CB isn't a switch.
Cool Video and great plane!
Awesome! I can't wait to check out on this plane!
What are you sinking about? Just kidding haha great video!
fine job
Schöne Aufnahmen!
