A full week of the changing sunspots!
Probably a good video but I am hard of hearing. If you increase your audio substantially, I may consider subscribing, Thanks!
Was too cloudy in Michigan to get a shot of the sun... broke my streak of over a month!
@@PinoAstro wow! That is an amazing streak! Lucky to get a whole week here this year!😂
Ah year, that aberation on the cat 71 was the same from the WO star 71, the the glut of rebranded 70 mm quads (Meade, TS, Orion, Altair) showing pentagonal stars and dark wedges in the form of iron cross from aperture vignetting - corrector too far up the tube. Best of luck with the EDPH, curious to see how it holds up at f/4.4. Its aroudn for a few years, but always at the end of my shopping cart trigger finger. Clear skies.
So far the Sharpstar EDPH94 has been absolutely flawless! Check my instagram page to see some new mono image posts. It was able to easily split the triplet stars above the elephants trunk nebula with an 18 hour exposure time! 10/10, very fast and very sharp!
I like earthshine shots too!
Nice setups!
I'm addicted too. I'm a generalist, but especially a solar imaging fan!
I love doing solar, even if it is just white light filter. Maybe someday a true solar scope!🙌🏻
I caught this trio of a trio of huge Active Regions, too! Fun to see!
Nice progression!
Great shot. 😘👌
Is that real time? Or does your rig need time to compile a shot?
These shorts are live video👍🏻
🎉😂
For planetary it's still still the regular rig.
I use a Celestron 6” sct for planetary
@@SpaceRocksandStardustA beginner is more attracted to see these planetary details which none of the EAA scopes are just yet there. Maybe the price point is set higher when they get there.
@@NatarajanGanesan Yes, I think you are right there! If they had that ability I would imagine the price would increase significantly. Nothing beats aperture and focal length for planetary. I am sure Celestron’s entry into the world of smartscopes with the RASA would be capable but the pice point is really far too high to be affordable for most and is definitely not for a beginner.
@@SpaceRocksandStardust Indeed! Their latest Celestron Origin is showing the path where it is all headed
Agreed
Hi, can you add in the description the model of the power bank and the filters you add to the dwarf? Thanks :)
Of course!
Just ordered a Dwarf 3 but thinking the Seestar S50 might be better. Obviously not released. Should I stick with the 3 or go for the S50? This would be my first of this type of scope.
I think with the upgrades on the Dwarf III it will be more comparable to the S50 as far as field of view and upgraded sensor. My issue with the Seestar was the lack of an option to run it equatorially and it was much too sensitive when it came to having to be perfectly level to function properly. The Dwarf II was much more forgiving when it cane to set up. In my honest opinion I think for the price the Dwarf III would be the best option, stick with it!👍🏻
That was neat.
Thanks! This weather has just been shitty🙄
@@SpaceRocksandStardust So much so. Need some heat.
PS Dwarf 3 is just about to be released, 30th May
Yeah, I am super excited to see what a difference the upgrades will make! I did a short vid when the tech specs were released, looks like it will be another winner!
I agree with you that the Dwarf 11 is an excellent bit of kit, i have 150 sct goto which i really like, but never the money or the time to get into high end astro photograthy . The Dwarf 11 certainly filled the gap for me. I am now getting into EAA, just love this hobby.
It just works so well, and it makes it easy and fun! Struggling with a full size astro rig is definitely not for everyone!
Legit so jel right now dude living the dream!
LOL. Thanks for keeping an eye on the skies brother.
In between clouds!😂
That is a large cluster of sun spots in the Southern hemisphere!
It will be interesting to watch over the next few days!
Nice stuff!
Thank you!
Awesome images of our Sun! The Sun is currently in it's Solar maximum so the perfect time for Sun-Spots, Solar Flares etc! 👌👍 I'm currently about 15 months into astrophotography, both planetary and DSO's, but I definitely want to get into Solar as well. It's just a matter of money, as it always is for most average folk in the hobby. I will have saved up enough for a basic Solar telescope by the end of the year, I cannot wait my friend! Wes, Liverpool, England.
Thank you so much! This hobby can be absolutely crazy expensive! All my solar images are just done with the Dwarf II, so only nd filter, white light image. I would love to get a dedicated solar scope to shoot h alpha and get all the filament details but that might be a little ways in the future!😂 Clear skies!✨🔭
@@SpaceRocksandStardust Wow you did awesome with only a Dwarf my friend! I am genuinely impressed! LOL yes the hobby is hilariously expensive! ( but the joke is on us, unfortunately! LOL ). I'm aiming for a 40mm aperture solar 'scope, the cheapest I have found but definitely capable of quality solar works! Clear Skies to you too my friend!
Great photos & music!
Thank you very much my friend!
Nice video, Nick! Hope your telescope troubles are over 😊
Thank you so much my friend! I hope it is smooth sailing from here on! Clear skies!✨🔭
Thanks again for a video with this telescope! I have a Gemini off brand EAF on the way, so hopefully it mounts up as easily as your ZWO EAF does.
Thanks for checking out the video, hope it helps! Good luck with your new focuser, I had mine out for first light last night and it is a definite game changer for work flow! Clear skies!✨🔭
@SpaceRocksandStardust I've had mine for a couple of months now and have been scouring YT looking for reviews. I'm brand new to astrophotography, so I don't really know what to expect out of this scope. It would be interesting to know what your first two scopes' production date was, so I can compare with mine. No Idea how to check if my optics are good, lol. It will be great to follow your journey with this scope!
@SDNoel Thanks for subscribing! Both dates on the other two scopes were February 2023, I know that bad runs can happen to any manufacturer! So things looked really good for first light testing, everything very sharp and crisp, no full image session yet (cloudy for the next while) but stay tuned for updates! Clear skies!✨🔭
Hey Nick! Just found your channel. That 94EDPH looks really well made. I look forward to seeing what kind of images you capture with her! Wes, Liverpool, England
Thanks @wesleydonnelly2141 I managed to get some testing in last night between clouds, so far it is looking super sharp!👍🏻
@@SpaceRocksandStardust Oh that's ace Nick! I'm actually looking to buy a slightly larger aperture apo refractor myself, to give me another option alongside my ALTAIR Lightwave 66ED. The 94EDPH looks perfect for my needs so watch this space my friend! 👌👍
@@wesleydonnelly2141 I will post a more in depth review once I have the data, but the fit and finish is top notch for sure. Thanks for subscribing, there will be more great astro content coming! Clear skies!✨🔭
@@SpaceRocksandStardust Awesome thanks Nick! My pleasure Nick, and I look forward to seeing that in depth review when you've got enough data and had time to use it properly. Again many thanks and clear skies to you too my friend!✨🌀
It has eyes It has eyes
Have to admit. That is my favorite rock. Great shot.
She is a beauty! Thanks Brother!✨🔭
Throwing a comment down for the Algo. I'm enjoying the content.
Was completely clouded over again this year!🙄☁️
Don't t see any protests in gaza asking hamas leader to step down! Oh wait, hes living it up in Dubai
Uhhh, ok, I will bite… what are you talking about?
