Healing Gardens
Добавлен 8 апр 2023
Gardening and sharing my knowledge that has been poured into me by my many friends across the web is a passion of mine. I currently garden in a tiny space from a teeny tiny home. It is most productive and a truly healing garden. I grow all things edible or lovely. I love to share my produce as well. Come along on this journey as we master growing in containers and small raised beds. Blessing to you all and I appreciate you so much.

How To Save Seeds
This is part one of saving seeds. We do a little tour and then talked about saving different kinds of seeds and the importance. I not only save seeds out of my garden, but out of other peoples gardens, and grocery store food.

Garden Cleanup 🌱🌱🌱 ✂️
Просмотров 4514 дней назад
Time to trim thin and remove some plants. Not always our favorite thing to do, but it is very necessary for healthy plants. It’s a beautiful day to get this chore done and plants will thank us for it. I think I heard them sigh relief now that they have so much room to grow. #fallgarden #gardening #gardencleanup #gardenbedprep

Summer to fall changes in the garden 🍅🥬🫛🧄

The garden is really taking on a new face. As much as I love each season I will miss the summer garden. As I pull out summer crops to make room for fall planting it is so very bittersweet.
Let’s take our fresh herb blends to the market 👩🏼🌾🌱🌱🌱
Просмотров 3821 день назад
Spur of the moment decision to go to the market as a vendor. I have always enjoyed the market as a shopper and as a vendor. This was a small but fairly busy market. I almost sold out and so many people really loved the idea of fresh herb blends. #fallharvest #fallgarden
Planting Garlic 🧄 🧄🧄 now for harvest in June
Просмотров 2328 дней назад
It’s time to get our garlic in the ground. Depending on where you are, you might already have yours planted. Garlic takes 6 to 8 months to develop a great route system and separate into cloves. The longer it is in the ground the better. But I have planted garlic as late as January and still had a nice crop. Pick out a space in your garden that you can plant and basically leave alone until June....

May 2022 is when I first was led to start a You Tube channel. Then I got sick and quit before I ever uploaded a video. When I came across this I thought it would be fun to share my heart ❤️ if you can hear it for the wind 💨. I love y’all and want everyone to have a successful garden.

A little harvest #everybitcountschallenge
I got a chip drop and it's awesome although it is a lot of work moving a truck full of chips from the front of the house to the back where my garden is located. I moved it manually one wheelbarrow at a time.
That is how I am moving my pile one cart at a time. It is such a blessing to get these chips for free.
Do you use wood chips mulch or compost in your garden? What advice have you been given?

"Just herbs"
Yes. Herbs. Next year I’ll go bigger.
@@SeedTimeHarvest7 herbs are good
Jump in here and tell me what you are planting for fall. And when is your first frost date?
“Oh look! More noodle beans!” aka 🐿️🤭 ❤ What do you like about those & how do you prep them?
I like to sauté in bacon grease just until crisp tender. When I have more than I can eat I freeze them. They do no can well. Also remember to pick when thin for best texture and flavor.
Thank you! So educational and such a good word!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting. It encourages me.
So glad i found your channel! It is really encouraging 😊
Awww thank you. I’m so glad you found me too.
Seeds are amazing! Given the right conditions, they know exactly what to do and who they are.
They are amazing. I am always in awe when I take a package of dried up seeds and plant them and they grow.
Your video has strengthened me. Thank you!
That is so awesome. Thank you for watching and taking time to let me know.
It looks so lush!
It feels very lush with these beasts of roselle. I am glad you are here. Thank you
I’m SO jealous of your roselle!! It’s gorgeous. Watching you for inspiration - since we have a bit more warmer weather, thinking I’m gna throw out some lettuces, broccoli & cauliflower. They ain’t growing in the seed packets. 😂
Thank you so much. I have one roselle that is twice as big as the other three. I'll try to remember to include it in tomorrows tour. I appreciate you.
Looks good! Organization feels so nice.
@@rootroost8176 Yes it really does. I have a bit more to do but every hour is a step closer.
Thanks for sharing sister, new friend here stay connected God bless you
@@lightofgodindarkness Thank you🥰 Bless you

Thank you. I pulled a bunch of stuff out today. And hope to get more planted tomorrow.
Sophie is so cute.
Thank you. She loves to snuggle.
i subbed, i'm a new creator too
Thank you. Welcome to the channel.
I just started turnips, beets, carrots, and radishes 4 days ago. They're all sprouting except the carrots (divas!). I started cabbage, collards, and kale in nursery pots a few weeks ago and they're about ready to go into their garden spots. Shade cloth is a fall garden's friend in August! Location: Oklahoma
That is awesome. How is everything doing?
hi seed time harvest 🤗 this is a great video. i understand why you garden, the challenges and the successes. i have been gardening since i was knee-high to a cornstalk 🤣😂. my grandparents were farmers, so my love of gardening is in my genes. it is so meaningful to me ‐ beyond just growing food (which i definitely enjoy eating), it is a physical, mental and spiritual sanctuary. thank you so much for sharing. im already looking forward to your next video. 😊
@@HealyMeans thank you so much for watching and being so kind. My grandma was the gardener, but I don’t remember anything about gardening when I was a child. Knowing our why for anything keeps us focused. Are you planting a fall garden?
@@SeedTimeHarvest7 yes i am. my area supports year-round gardening (SoCal, zone 11a). i sowed a variety of seeds in starter cups 9 days ago and will be preparing my containers this week to hopefully transplant by next weekend.
@HealyMeans That is so awesome. I must say I’m a little bit jealous having a longer growing season then we do. But then I remember people that have 120 days. I think mine is 240.
Looks really good! I'm going to sow carrots, turnips and beets tomorrow in Norman, OK. Got the shade cloth ready! lol
Thank you That is something I need to get! Shade cloth. It is so hot here right now. I did get some seeds up I sowed last week.
The fall garden is taking shape! Looks good.
Thank you I’ve got lots of new things going in this week that I will be showing off next week.
Looks good, Kim! (are those the little trays from the Spring Fling door prizes?) Calendula salve is my favorite too.
Yes they are.
hi 🤗 found your channel while searching for 2024 seed haul videos. great organization and haul. i garden in southern california, zone 10b/11a. subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your videos. tfs
Hi, thank you so much. I appreciate that. What are you sowing in your area right now? My channel is new so my family can’t even find me yet. I love a good seed haul video. My goal is to upload videos, Tuesdays and Fridays. I have had many technical difficulties doing that, but that is the plan. See you on the next video.
aw...Richard is so cute.
Thank you. I just love him so much
Love the idea of dumping vacuum dirt into a pot! Our herd brings in so much I may need a big container lol
I have done it for many years. I have had a spot in every garden for vacuum surprises. The mustard greens were definitely the most vigorous.
I would love to trade you something for a few of the purple Hyacinth peas.
Could you private message me ❤️
@@SeedTimeHarvest7 I'm not sure how. I'll have my daughter help me when she gets home.
Hope I apologize. At this time I am not able to do trades by mail.
I'm painting red potatoes, zucchini, and butternut squash.
@@hopebradley1417 That is awesome. I found my honey nut squash and will plant those tomorrow.
We love pickles Grannie… 😊😊😊😊
