how do u drill the polish clean off the right sidewall without hitting the skin? i always find that hard when the polish is all the way to the sidewall.
@@lifewithlaniDUH reverse
You didn't cut the cuticles and you use really a small amount of gel
My fills take so long! This video is great I’m going to try your method today !!
Do you use a dust collector?
Yes, I use an Emendee table www.emendee.com.au
Love the Australian accent
What can I use as nail cleaner if I don't have cleanser available? I am talking about cleansing the tacky layer after the hand comes out of the lamp for the gel
Isopropyl alcohol
@@ProSalonSolutions ... thanks for the fast reply...
What speed do you use your efile for taking off top coat or polish and speed for cuticle prep ?
You are incredibly fast! Love Light elegance too. I wish more RUclipsrs would use professional products
Thanks Betty!
Its very fast... Thats great... The only downside to this speed i notice is nails being bumpy when lookea from the side.. a lot of clients wouldn't settle for that 🦋
oh my god !!! so impressive
Thank you for sharing, I’m recently qualified and using light elegance too so it’s great to get these tips! Do you not apply a slip layer first when applying the Jimmy gel?
Yes definitely, however I have refined my technique over the years to not need it on infills, I do on full sets though ☺
Hi Michelle Can you please share the ceramic bit you’ve used to take down bulk? ❤❤
Sure Lisa, if you just google ceramic safety but you'll find lots of options. Here's a link from NSI www.nsinails.com.au/products/ceramic-barrel-smooth-top-nail-drill-bit?currency=AUD&variant=21351617364086&Google%20Shopping&stkn=d4d6c79d351a&gclid=CjwKCAjw15eqBhBZEiwAbDomEsr04rZXLGl6bhQZepfB40P-JKSwH5uKTtoNq62njDlAWeqinp7UFRoCFZ4QAvD_BwE
@@ProSalonSolutions the drill bit you linked is Fine. Do you use another grit? Like course? 😊
@@Mssevereinc No, only fine on gel
Thanks for sharing this! I'm going to try tweak a few of my steps based on this to try make my services more efficient ❤ super helpful
What kind of bit are you using? 🥰
Just a barrel bit for debulk and a cuticle bit
yeah but you dont build any apex so whats the point of this then
Definitely apex there. My clients go 3 to 6 weeks between visits
Why don’t you cap the nails when bonding or applying builder? I thought it was a vital thing to do?
Hi Jacqueline, I only apply the Bonder where the gel is going to be applied. And because I file to refine the free edge at the end, it would only remove the product from this area
Come back, I miss you 🙏💖
I am back, have opened a new salon... Check out @botanikabeautyau on Instagram 📸
You make it look so easy!
What drill bits do you use and at what speed xxx
I can’t believe 😱😮you did great job absolutely amazing. I have to practice and I hope I will do your results as soon as possible
Hi! Love this video, thanks for sharing! What courseness were the first 2 bits you used? (The carbide & the ceramic) thanks so much!
Hi there, just medium ☺
I’m in Australian also :) I’m currently studying nails and if you ever want to get rid of your acrylic and glitters that you don’t use I’d love to buy them off you! L help me so much to grow my collection
Hi Olivia! Thanks for that... This was many years ago and I have since sold the whole salon! Good luck with your studies x
You literally blew my mind! Omg, I’m definitely trying your technique tomorrow!! My only flaw is my timing and your gel application literally blew my mind! I use light elegance as well so this video was extremely helpful! Thank you soooo much!!!
Same! I get to 2 hours and I’m celebrating! Lol 😂
I'd love for you to do more videos! Your techniques have helped me to greatly improve my service. You are a great teacher
Oh thank you! That mean so much 😘
@@ProSalonSolutions 🥰
Finally, a nail professional who uses a timer. Thank you! An exceptional video nail tutorial very well done. I have to go back whether or not implements used were told where it could be purchased. If not, please list it below. If you are not an LE educator, LE needs to get you on board.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I retired from nails 2 years ago now, but previous to that yes, I was an LE Educator ☺
I love watching you work ❣️ Please film more once this shutdown is over. You are so methodical & efficient. I appreciate that these are real salon setting fills, not 4 hour IG sets.
u have the best vids, please do more "watch me work" vids!!! new sub
I know right Her videos are interesting and satisfying
Y cant u use the acrylic
I choose to be a hard gel only salon. No odour and a more luxury experience
Omg I need your class 😭 my time is horrible. My schooling was not good in my opinion (and my classmates) and it only confused me. I own a small shop working by myself which I opened straight out of school with $200, 8 gel polish colours and no clientele. I was using LE but recently stopped to used gel polish. I’ve switched products every few months thinking that’s the problem but I think it’s me 😢 I’m doing something wrong and I’m Trying so hard but can’t figure it out. New students seem to be faster than me which is embarrassing!
How are you doing now?
Do a giveaway 😭
Haha this was years ago! I've sold my whole salon since then
Michelle Ryan oh no 🤦🏾♀️
Please film more, it is so satisfying to watch!
Hey what’s that dust extractor called 😍
It's an Emendee brand table ☺
This cuticles work looks horrible. Not pretty... I dont get it how client can like this 😣
Hello :) Can you give me some advice about drawing french smile line? Thanks :) I like your videos!
Sure! Check out this video of mine 👉 ruclips.net/video/9nC-Pijya28/видео.html
Thanks for this video! It was very helpful
I sure wished you would do more videos pleas maybe closer
i like ur tutorial, do you mind to tell me what brand of the dust collector you have?
Emendee from Australia ☺
thank you. @@ProSalonSolutions
Such a hepful video!!! Thank you so much 😊
Great tutorial wish I knew how to do acrylic
This is a great video I love your application method for the cover pink thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks so much!!
Aren't you posting videos any more?
Hi Maria! I have sold my salon and semi-retired!! I may get bored in the new year though and make some videos just for fun ☺
@@ProSalonSolutions woww, happy for you if this is what you want. Best wishes!!!
Can you tell me, please, what lamp do you have?
I have the Light Elegance lamp ☺
Thank you
Very pretty, sorry did you say you do not need a topcoat before the white polish and I just tried to recreate but it was a mess, not sure if it's my white polish or the brush I used didn't have a brush like your's? :(
Yes, it's a thick white gel from Light Elegance called Just White ButterCream ☺
can I have some of the nail products you want to throw out
Haha they are long gone! I have sold the salon since this video ☺
Michelle Ryan Nail Artist ohh brother. well do you still do nails. or just done. much success in your upcoming adventures
very nice.
Hi I just came across your channel and I love the fact your an Australian doing gel (I’m allergic to acrylic)... Are you planning to upload more gel watch me works/tutorials. 🌸🐨🌸
Yes I am! I've recently sold my salon, so I'll have a lot more time for education 👍
Omg I'll have it alll!!! So jealous of your glitter wall
Love your salon, I really need to get good files too.
Beautiful space! If I lived near you I would LOVE to be a customer! If you need someone to sell your acrylics to, keep me in mind!
I love your M&D desk, the fan is huge. I’ve never seen a table available in the USA like that. What is the length as it looks huge? Why do you not use acrylics anymore? Why don’t you use glitter anymore? Is it you don’t have a demand for it?
