[4K] ZicZac Leather Watch Straps Quick Review
hi there , i just want to know which size is that? is that 19~20mm?
Yup!
I don’t get it, what is so special putting a Miyota premium movement on a vintage case and dial and charge 4x times as the price of the movement. The precision of 15/30 sec per day for that price? For these price get a real Swiss watch ( Tissot/ Reveue Thommen/ …) with a better movement for the same price. There you have +/-2 sec for ETA / Selitta or the new LPM with higher power reserve.
Next vid show how to put that on a watch....
Got one earlier this week, the packaging is exactly the same two years on - the name of the manager on the letter has changed though!
Haha that's great to know!
Might be worth trying one but I can't get past that spring bar buckle. To me that defeats the whole point of a nato strap.
That's fair enough. What NATO strap doesn't have that?
@@Relozo My personal favorite is the Zuludiver Hydrarib.
Looks like the cushions are too big.
Definitely for small-medium to large. Straps that are 105/65mm will most likely not fit or will be tight depending on where the lug holes are situated.
Awesome review.
Thank you for the kind words :)
Great video, thanks
Thank you for the kind words :)
People don't get it, it's not meant to be a serious watch, it a fun collaboration, it's a creative move, go see what variety Casio or gshock has with resin..people shouldn't s*hit on this collab
Just bought a similar one from Coach and i think its a great alternative!
Great choice! The most important thing is it protects the watch.
would like to see a wrist roll if I need a 36mm to 40 mm.
I think if you have around 6.5" wrist or less, 36mm is the way to go. Otherwise, it's 40mm.
Actually the lateral clutch is considered by many a plus since it leaves most of the movement visible. Patek for example always use lateral clutches on his high end pieces ❤
The pad is meant to use to stabilize and not scratch your watch when you are changing the strap.
It is naff looking, like a wee toy watch you'd get in the 70/80's or out of a christmas cracker. Sort of thing you'd pay £5 down a market or car boot sale.
Which padding did you go for with this one?
Thank you for featuring our microbrand watch strap company! ❤
Price?
it is so comfortable to wear
Yup it's quite comfy!
there are a lot of imitation crocodile/alligator leather that have irregular patterns as well so what other ways are there to tell if its genuine croc/alligator or just calf leather with embossed pattern?
Hello! I just have a QQ: just got the same watch, and I noticed while setting up the time, the date changes at 1am not 12am. Do you have the same issue with your watch? Thanks!
Mine changes 10 minutes before 12. There will always be a tolerance for date change depending on how the hands were set. At this price point for a mass-produced watch, it's expected. Even expensive luxury watches can have the same issue, but more uncommon due to stricter QA.
Thanks for the quick reply. So, this is not a cause for an alarm? lol I'm actually thinking of bringing the watch to a boutique to be checked. It's usually 5mins before 12 or 5mins after for my other watches, but 1am is a little far off, don't you think? @@Relozo
@@jmarq7659Personally nope at this price, but if yours is under warranty and bothers you a bit, I would recommend getting it swapped under warranty.
My dad just bought me one sad to see that it wasn’t worth it :(
What makes yours worth it is that your dad gave it to you. It's priceless. Enjoy the watch mate :)
You talk to much. Just get to the strap!!
Good review. Nice shots and straight to the point.
Thank you for the kind words :)
Here’s the fourth thing to know… It’s an over priced plastic toy. For $400 you can buy a bunch of iconic watches from reputable manufacturers that will last you for many years. If not a lifetime… Or you can buy this plastic hunk of crap…! That’s the fourth thing to know pal
It's ugly😂😂
Haha fair!
They look cheap. I will pass on these.
They do actually especially on this colour :(
Great video
Thanks!
Once these cheap watches breakdown it’s going to become more plastic waste in the ocean.
I agree - that's the ironic part of this release sadly.
India❤❤❤
😂 You guys will buy anything! 💩
Hahah guilty.
This watch is a joke. Can’t believe that people pay the price Swatch is asking for. Looks like a toy watch for kids. 😂😂😂😂
yeah - the marketing worked in that sense.
Was curious until I saw the WR was < 100m, which makes it both a pretend Blancpain and a pretend diver.
Fair, but still better than the Moonswatch. Still doesn't make it good lol.
Should be called the Swatch fifty can't fathoms the price
Savage garden 😂
And a plastic pallet fork, a non hacking movement that cannot be serviced..... Not for me:-)
Yup and if you accidentally do a back pressure when you set the time, the second hands jumps around lol.
Any high end brand that swatch does this to I will not buy
It's certainly not worth the free publicity you lot are giving it. Its a plastic childrens looking watch with a terrible movment.
Its trash Buy a watch that can last 20 years buy a tissot dive watch same price or seiko turtle This plastic trash will only last 3 years
It is not worth the money.
¡hello relozo!.. ¿can you comment on the diameter of this watch and what is the width of the strap?, ¡greetings!..
Width of the strap is 21.5mm from my measurement (not an accurate caliper). Diameter is 42.3mm as per the website.
@@Relozo¡thanks for responding!, ¡regards!..
Oh look, another "I am poor and I cant afford the original watch" watch.
Nice review. I'm still not sold. It's $500CAD which is more then I want to spend on a plastic watch. Can this be serviced?
Thanks! Nope as the case can't be opened. I did read that the movement can be repaired. Just in this scenario it's disposable.
Looks like a 5-yo kid s gadget
Ben10 omnitrix
I love how Swatch advertise their bio-ceramic and recycled fishing net straps as eco-friendly, but at the same time sell us a watch that isn't repairable!
Technically this one is, as the watch isn't hermetically sealed like other System51 watches are. If Swatch or an independent watchmaker are willing to take a look at it, it should theoretically be possible to replace any faulty parts.
Why isn't it repairable.....does'nt it come with international warranty..???@@samuelcorbishley6016
@@samuelcorbishley6016KEEP COPING
This is serviceable
It's true, lotta reviews don't mention it but it has a snap case back so technically you can remove the movement or replace it. But will probably cost as much as the watch itself to do either and by the time you'd want to do that (like in 2 years) I'm sure the rest of the watch will be completely shot. It's like servicing a Seiko 5, you technically can but no one does it.
I didn't buy the moonswatch because it was made of plastic, and this one looks no different to me, so I'll just pass again. Now waiting for 2024 collab with Rado, and 2025 collab with Breguet to see if they still go with plastic.
I wouldn't mind a Breguet collab, but a dressy one is probably not going to sell. It's probably going to be a Type XX with a good history.
Even without considering the humiliation of having to wait in line for hours without knowing if they have enough stock, $400 is too much for this. At $200 it is worth it.
Yup. I almost missed out as well. The people behind me would have been furious as I was the last one for the first drop.
It’s nothing more than a cash grab. Take a watch that you sell for $200, put a posh name on it and sell it for double the price. No different than putting some Lambo badges on a Golf GTI and saying ‘Look, it’s a Lamborghini’. It shows just how stupid we have become as a society when we revere the name more than the actual product.
I think that goes for the whole upper end of the luxury market. Designer bags like Dior, Hermes and Chanel would probably have $50-$200 worth of materials and charge thousands.
Yeah. That is right.
Bioceramic is the woke name for plastic.
Right up there with VEGAN LEATHER...aka vinyl plastic seats.
This joke only works if you don’t know what “woke” means
Big fact
😂👍
@@toesuf94Not really it can be made from recycled goods .
My reservation is a non serviceable movement. When a $400 watch is not going to keep ticking it is concerning.
Yup. They'll probably just going to swap the whole thing.
@@Relozo Meaning the customer will have to buy another watch.
Wow a Plasic fake Blancpain swatch pile of junk and will be another disgrace for high dollar watch owners. SAD SAD
It looks like very nice plastic and recycled materials. Good buy at 400 dollars!!
delusional
Goodbye at 400 dollars. 😁
