So with a large canvas fitted on the easel, and the picture rest lowered to paint near the top, the 'taboret' is on the floor! - the very last place you'd want it. Or have I misunderstood?
You understand correctly. The Taboret is removable. 5 minutes. The design is not intended to resolve all obstacles of being an artist, just most of them.
Taboret is easily detachable to accommodate🙄
