Thank you for these. I love these explanations just as when you explained the Book of Common Prayer. Hello from your friend in Florida.
Hello from Florida! I’ve really been enjoying these.
Awwww, the woman in this video is cute.
Thank you.
Secular Humanism has nothing to do with spirituality. Nothing deep.Just try to be a good person. Still Christians today believe and have witnessed people getting healed instantly, some including my self have prayed for individuals to be healed in Jesus name, and they were healed.
Really enjoyed this. I follow you from Orlando, Florida.
Love you two! ❤
You might want to touch on the issue of Anglican Orders.
She looks like Donna Tartt!
Sound I can barely you blessed ones
When researching whether to become Episcopal, something you can uncover but will not find promoted, is their official position on Biblical inerrancy. The Episcopal church asserts that the Bible may have errors in "what it teaches about God and God's will for human salvation" presumably because it has passed through the hands of mankind. This allows them to create doctrine as they wish since they can decide something in scripture is a mistake or something more nefarious. Ironically, their doctrine making process is by definition passing the Word of God "through the hands of mankind". You can find it in the glossary of terms on their official website, but I'll quote it here: Inerrancy, Biblical The belief that the Bible contains no errors, whether theological, moral, historical, or scientific. Sophisticated holders of this theory, however, stress that the biblical manuscripts as originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek were inerrant, but not those that are presently available. Some more conservative scholars are reluctant to speak of inerrancy, but choose to speak of biblical infallibility. They mean that the Bible is completely infallible in what it teaches about God and God's will for human salvation, but not necessarily in all its historical or scientific statements. Biblical inerrancy and infallibility are not accepted by the Episcopal Church. See Fundamentalism.
It isn’t “as we wish”. “See fundamentalism” why? So I can watch another pastor mock autistic people and yell that Jesus wore pants? No thanks.
@@frogtownroad9104 I think you don't understand my post.
What happened to Session 2? I cannot locate it on RUclips.
complete waste of time - episcopalians will ignore canon and any 3 legged chairs when asked to choose between Christianity and left-wing politics. Bishop Barbara Harris elected without regard to canon, Bishop Robinson elected without regard to canon. Rules are for little people.
No no no. Lies, ignorance, heresy and self delusion to the max.
This is so heretical. this is exactly why the episcopal church numbers are dropping year after year, God is not with you, you fake priest!
Repent and beleive the gospel
Hello Reverend, Could you suggest some good intro books/authors on biblical criticism?
We only call the Church here is Australia Anglican we used to call it the Church of England and because of the C of E abbreviation some people would name it as the Christmas and Easter Church inferring only Christmas and Easter attendance

I love this! Do I have to convert to Episcopal to attend Eucharist? I’m Catholic but I love that third leg of Reason!
No! Any baptized Christians can receive Communion in the Episcopal Church
In the old days you had to be confirmed as an Episcopalian.
@@sameash3153 I recently heard an Episcopalian priest say that they accept all of the Catholic sacraments as valid. That’s good news.
@jupiterinaries6150 Yes, Episcopal churches recognize seven sacraments. My church for instance practices confession and unction. But the catholic church does not recognize our holy orders, if that is important to you. Check the church out in my channel. Most catholics would assume it is a catholic church if they saw it. Several members here are in fact catholics.
@@sameash3153 no it’s not important to me but I think it’s unfortunate that the CC doesn’t accept them. Also what’s really been drawing me in is the homilies. I find them so practical and applicable to the issues of our time and how to bring Gods love to the world. Yes I will check out your churches channel. Thanks.
This is actually the March 23rd service
Thank you for the video. Easy to follow for someone not familiar with the church.
I believe that many referred to Jesus as a radical. The Rt. Rev. Barbara Harris was in solid company.
Well said, Don!
Though I don’t live in California and don’t attend your specific church, is there any way I can give just to help? I am Episcopalian and I live in WA ❤
This female in male drag tells you what Episcopalians are about. And why they are fast on their way to vanishing.
I love how y’all say we’re vanishing but yaknow why you say it. You say it because if you push the narrative that our decrease in numbers makes us unpopular, people will stop showing. You’re funny.
@@frogtownroad9104 You make sure that "people will stop showing" all by yourselves. You don't need any one else's narrative for that.
@@polemeros Yeah except virtually every denomination is losing membership in the US
Another wonderful sermon. Thank you.
"Lift Every Voice and Sing" is one of my favorite hymns. Lift every voice and sing! Amen? 😇💯❤🙏

just watched from Peachtree City Ga (just south of Atlanta). LOVE your choice of music!!!!!! Love your Q&A!!!! what a sweet spirit in this church!
Cool video!!! You desperately need SMZeus!
Today's episcopal church condones, promotes, and celebrates the sin of homosexuality as normal behavior despite it's own Book of Common Prayer BCP in Article of Religion VII stating; The Old Testament is not contrary to the New and no Christian man whatsoever is free from the obedience of the Commandments which are called Moral. However, it appears that every Bible verse/story regarding homosexuality has been removed from and is NOT found in the BCP, such as in; Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13, Genesis 19 (Sodom and Gomorrah), Romans 1-18-32, and 1 Corinthians 6-9-10. Needless to say, if you point this out to anyone in the episcopal church, instead of seeking the truth most episcopalians will call you homophobic and racist. My question is simply, who is helping these poor souls deal with their sin?
We have addressed this hundred and hundreds and hundreds of times so frankly, it feels like hitting my head against a wall but let’s try anyway. We do. We don’t believe homosexual attraction is any worse nor better than heterosexual attraction. So what do we do? Encourage more or less everything that you would encourage for heterosexual couples. Throw the porn out, delete the dating apps, date to marry, if ya can raise children. Otherwise be celibate.
@@frogtownroad9104 Thank you for your feedback and agree, same sex attraction in itself is NOT in itself a sin, anymore than an attraction to steal, commit adultery, or is a sin. It is the act itself that consummates the sin. However, by your own words readily admit; "Encourage more or less everything that you would encourage for heterosexual couples", thus, the episcopal church (meaning it ministry from the top down) has a 'special' regard toward the sin of homosexuality because it is tolerated and as I said before, condoned, promoted, and celebrated. God, however, DOES NOT hold the same view regarding 'homosexuality' as the episcopal church does and the fact the episcopal church has 'reinterpreted' scripture and disregards the Bible in this matter is very concerning. (Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13, Genesis 19 (Sodom and Gomorrah), Romans 1-18-32, and 1 Corinthians 6-9-10). To top it off, there is NO effort is made on the part of the episcopal church leadership to encourage those poor souls caught up in sin to 'change' and turn away from sin. No effort is made to suggest they refrain from receiving communion per what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:27. Since, NO effort is made on the part of episcopal ministry to help these poor souls recognize their sin and turn away, sadly, many in the ministry will be held accountable for leading God's children astray. Ezekiel 33:8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die, and you DO NOT speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. May God have mercy on your soul.
@@johns1834 Why are you quoting those same six verses like I haven’t read them before? Why are you preaching like I’m so stupid I just don’t know? I’ve readem, we don’t come to the same conclusions about it. Like I said, we have addressed hundreds of times but you don’t listen. People like you don’t talk to people, you talk at them. People like you also think that if you just tell people your personal exegesis, everyone will agree with you. Like the issue isn’t that I haven’t read it. You know that isn’t the issue, you just like feeling bigger than others. May God have mercy on all our souls.
@@frogtownroad9104 You are the one who apparently supports and approves of the sin. So just want you to be aware of the consequences of your doing so. It is amazing how churches like the episcopal church use the Bible like a buffet, picking and choosing the parts it likes and ignoring the rest. God Bless you
@@johns1834 Do you know what a begging the question fallacy is? What is with this passive aggressive “God bless” to stop the conversation because you know you can’t keep going? Just don’t respond.
