Here I play "Blue Moon", a wonderful composition out of the year 1934 (music by Richard Rodgers / lyrics by Lorenz Hart), in a little bit "modernize" swing interpretation at my Casio Privia PX S3100 Digital-Piano, which I use here more as a keyboard.

@@kurt-kirchmann Ich danke Dir, Kurt; aufgrund des schon länger bestehenden Wunsches, mich diesem Song mal zuzuwenden, zog ich mal ein ziemlich altes Notenheft-Arrangement von "Blue Moon" mit heran, was sich an einer damaligem Interpretation um 1980 herum von der seinerzeit existierenden britischen Band Showaddywaddy orientierte (die Musik der Band war bzw. ist ansonsten eher nicht mein Geschmack), aber "Blue Moon" ist hier gut spielbar gesetzt/geschrieben & lässt darüber eben auch ein bisschen Freiraum für die ein oder andere Variation, da ich halt selten "nur" stur "nach Blatt spiele", sondern Noten oftmals eher als "Manuskript" nutze. Gut verjazzt in diesem flotten Swing dargeboten, bekommt der Titel noch eine andere Dimension, lieber Dietmar. In der Regel wird das Stück mit Sängern performt, doch Deine Darbietung klingt recht interessant. Da kann man mit dem Elektrischen Piano noch einiges rausfiltern. Eine völlig neue Interpretation hast Du Dir einfallen lassen, lieber Dietmar. Welches Lead-Instrument wurde von Dir eingesetzt? Ich vermute, es ist ein Solo-Akkordeon. @@leonoralily3372 ... vielen Dank, liebe Leonora 🙏🙂 - Du hast richtig gelegen, es ist ein "Cassotto" Akkordeon registriert gewesen, was ich sonst nicht häufig registriere, weil es nicht unbedingt meinem Geschmack entspricht, aber ich fand es bei diesem Titel & Arrangement eigentlich ziemlich passend 😉. @@christinataylor6572 I'm always thankful for your comment and for your visiting & listening here at my YT channel, Chris 🙏🙂💕🥰; there is quite a lot to do here right now, because, among other things, "our" parents' house has now gone to new owners last Friday, legally valid from 01.10.2024 (handover of the keys). By then, everything must be cleared, including various written modalities. All this should have happened much earlier, if our mother had realized in time that this path "must" be taken, if "the child has not yet fallen into the well", we have now had to "spoon out her soup" for her for almost a year, because since she had to move into the nursing home, I have been doing various administrative tasks several times a week and much more, just so that "we can get the cow off the ice for them here", but everything can no longer be changed, fortunately an end is in sight 🤷♂️🖖. I hope you're well, Chris 🤔🙏?! Dear Dietmar, I unfortunately know of what you speak and all I can say is God Bless You kids. That is not an easy job to take care of. My children are facing the same problem with me,and instead of 5 of them there is now only 3 girl’s . We started doing it 10 years ago when it should have been done and I stopped it. It was to hard to decide on 60 yrs of stuff and made my heart ache. Now it’s 10 yrs later and I’ve been here 70 yrs. Ever since I married Stan when I was only 15 year’s old. And now Maria and my 2 great Granddaughters have lived here with me for 6 yrs. She has nowhere to go and no money at this time. She is a Cancer surviver and has lost a shoulder blade which keeps her from working some jobs so she takes great care of me. She has met a wonderful person who loves her and the girls but he isn’t quite ready to marry just yet .He is helping his parents. It does get hard for you and your mom. Stan’s mom had a stroke 2 yrs.before she died and we both worked and went to her at least 3 times a week. till she passed. My heart aches for you but you will be glad you could do that after she is gone. I ran for my mom also and Stan was sick at home 5 years before he died. I still had mom for 5 more years after that. It sounds like a lot ,but I’m so glad I could do it. Wish I had done better for my kids. I waited too long and now I can’t. My house will be torn down a,so. You are in my prayers .Stay strong ,Dietmar. Much love and concern for you kids and Mom. Keep playing that beautiful music. You are doing so well with it. Have a good week. Abschließend rasche Info: hier stehen gerade noch mal anstrengende Wochen an, da "unser" Elternhaus nunmehr vergangenen Freitag notariell verkauft worden ist respektive auch dringlichst verkauft werden musste (Muttern's Seniorenpflegeheim-Aufenthalt, seit Ende September 2023, kostet unglaubliche monatliche Gelder, also bloß nie ins Pflegeheim gehen, sagen wir uns, letztendlich ist man dort "verraten & verkauft", lieber vorher abdanken oder schlimmstenfalls seinem Dasein selber ein Ende setzen, bevor man insbesondere den privatwirtschaftlich betriebenen Pflegeheimen "Knete in den Rachen schiebt" = "irre" & unmoralische Branche👎), so dass ich in nächster Zeit kaum andere (abonnierte) YT Kanäle besuchen & anhören kann, versuche aber mein bestes zu geben 😊😉 ... bestenfalls als Ausgleich selber ein bisschen musizieren kann 😗🙏?! Ich arbeite mich alleine immer mal wieder ins Klavierspiel rein; hier ist das Arrangement sicherlich für mich "das Höchste der Gefühle", ist nicht gerade leicht arrangiert, daher fehlt so'n bisschen der Spielfluss (immerhin war kein eigentlicher Spielfehler passiert 😇).
