Thanks for the comment, carl. You will be really happy with the guitar, lovely tone, set up and finish. I was so happy with mine i bought the LL16 dreadnought version as well. The latest version has a yamaha pickup already installed but i dont think there is a pre amp installed. Your amp should cater for this but if you are gigging and connecting to the venues sound system you might need to invest in a pre amp with a DI output. The LR Baggs i use works fine. Enjoy your guitar, Mud
