The 8.2 Detroit Diesel was designed for use in Ford's medium duty line of trucks as a diesel option to the 6.1L(370) and 7.0L(429). The 3208 Caterpillar was also available. But I think it's more problematic than 8.2L.

These cars are the SHIT man! Toughest American cars ever made! They're not the quietest, nor the smoothest cars, but they're tough as nails! How many KM's are on this Spirit??? I have a 1991 Acclaim with the same 3.0 V6 engine - it's got almost 233,000Km's and it's still going strong. Best car I ever had! Where is this video filmed?? Looks like Ontario. That car was built before the 1st of Jan of 1995. The Spirit Production rolled off the assembly line on Dec 9th 1994 and the Dodge Stratus was introduced as a replacement by Spring of 1995. In Spring of 1995 the Dodge Spirits got out sold for less because people quit buying them just like people quit buying chevy celebrities chevy lumina's ford crown victoria LTD's and all the past cars that people use to make.
