Love the car and the energy! I'd stay higher and brake/turn later into turn 11 on throttle hard and close to the inside curb before apex 12 and carry more speed through 12 going out wider. This is my favorite turn at Chuckwalla and feels like a mini reverse corkscrew to me with how the car compresses and holds grip if taken aggressively.

Have you tucked that wheel speed sensor away with those 9.5 +35 wheels. Might want to run some 5mm spacers as well and if you're gonna square up the wheels/tires look into a larger front sway bar. Shoot even one from the last generation or a Model Y.

This is the only person worth listening to. He gets right to the point and does not remove the wheels. I just used this method with a couple of plastic bicycle tire irons. All good!

Thanks for posting this great video; I watched it several times to get a good feel for the track and lines. Yesterday I ran my first track event ever which happened to be this one (I just posted a video of my run). My best run was 1:33.43 - I'm not going to complain but given my car is only a few hundred pounds heavier but I put down 850whp, a capable driver should be putting down 5-8 seconds faster with it? Either way, I think I may have caught the bug and looking forward to more future events.

What camera pole are you using?

Put a downpipe and a tune on the Bimmer and you should be in the 9.80s. Or go nuts and go full e85 to stomp some super cars.

To get to those 10's you'll need smaller rims and grippier tires. Also as much as you can take off weight, but i wouldn't go that far :)

I wonder if the M3s non-stock wheel\tire setup had a negative impact.

Ensure you're pre-heating the battery. The battery temp matters even more than the SOC. You can heat up the battery by navigating to supercharger, it takes a while.

Tesla should offer that as on option

Eventually, drag strips are gonna be taken over by a bunch of EVs. Which is probably a good thing considering that they can probably start building drag strips a lot closer to the neighborhoods since it’s very quiet lol

I don’t know why anyone would by an M3. Hear me out. The price of the m3 is Tesla model s plaid level. People will say track but I have owned A m and an Amg. Never took it to track once. Most owners don’t

I've never seen a race that short - I think I can run that distance and give the Tesla a battle.

You should be able to hit 10.8s and def. 10.9s stock ... seen best of 10.56 with passenger & rear seats removed (replacing drivers seat with a race seat), frunk plastic removed, and 18" Hypergram wheels squared, @ optimal charge and pre-c. Slope was -0.65 valid on Dragy leaderboard (Eddy). Nice besting the G80 M3 Competition X-Drive's 1/8th mile time ;)

2025 lci m3 and m4 have more HP. But a simple back seat delete or racechip 400$ and ur running all over thr model 3 performance.. even stock from a roll u would pull
