MAN!!! That is one complex piece of music! She is a total Genius! He plays well with her.
When I hear and look at Lucie and Thomas, I believe that God Almighty exists!
Adoro La Folie d'Espagne e questa versione è meravigliosa. Grazie grazie grazie. Baci dal'Italia. ❤
A recorder was always a important instrument in barock music!
Extra!
This doesn't seem to be an alto recorder in F, but one that goes lower. I read that early alto recorders were in G, but can anyone enlighten me as to what this one is?
It's a voiceflute, in D and at a=415 pitch! The voiceflute is a bit between alto and tenor (but essentially a tenor in D)
@@meeguu Thank you! While aware of other pitches, I didn't know that such instruments existed that were between alto and tenor. I am still a bit puzzled that I can play the notes on my alto,(though with different fingering) except the missing lower ones, and they sound correct. I didn't expect this to be the case if the instrument is in 415 pitch, but perhaps it is if the difference between 440 and 415 is a semitone? I am used to not being able to match the notes on early instruments but I guess this is because they are often at 432 not 415.
@@lindosland Yes that is correct, I believe the distance is almost exactly a semitone, which is why it's possible to produce the same tone on a different instrument
@@meeguu Thanks.
Incredible performance by both!
Madly in luf with this performance! Keep returning back to listen! <3 <3 <3
👏👏👏👏👏
Seguo la Horsch dal vinile, insuperabile
I come back to this masterpiece time to time.....❤❤❤❤
❤ magnifique
Wundervoll 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Lucie is definitely up there with Elissa Berardi, whose playing I adored. And (forgive me) that (forgive me) HAIR! (Forgive me.)
Wow, just wow.
The Follies of Spain.
Beautiful!!!👏👏👏🌟⭐✨☀️💫💖✨🌟💫🥰🙏👏💌⭐✨💫☀️🌟✨🌹☘️🌷☘️🌷☘️🌷⭐⭐🌹⭐⭐💫🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🙏🙏🙏
I learned to know about him through the movie, loved ever since
It is almost jazz!!! Nice to hear the playfulness this expresses next to the obviously masterful virtuosity.
MAGNIFIQUE
captivating & sublime! thanks to both!
Bitte hört euch auch diese Version mit Querflöte an, gespielt von dem großen HANS-PETER SCHMITZ: ruclips.net/video/CcMVP3zEZtk/видео.html Please also listen to this version with flute, played by the great HANS-PETER SCHMITZ: Veuillez également écouter cette version à la flûte, jouée par le grand HANS-PETER SCHMITZ :
Un seul mot : Superbe !
As a child in France, when I said Iplayed Recorder, people laughed at me...in our country many people even among french musicians in our Conservatoires (high schools of music), do not still consider Recorders as "noble" instruments. So it is a shame to practice these instruments...so and when I listen to Lucie Horsch end other recorder players from North Europ, I feel very glad and proud. Thanks a lot for your talents and generosity in your playing
And yet, so ironically: in your own country, the French Baroque era established a golden time capsule in time of specific recorder techniques etc, techniques and interpretations that we meticulously try to copy today. Go on and enjoy the noble instrument and don't mind what others have to say.
I don´t know how talented you are but perhaps try help change that a little-also what many people don´t know recorders can be very expensive several hundred Euros but you can also get a violin for 100Euro new (not a Strad of course) but loads of people don´t know that
Thanks for your answer and now I do not care what people think in first I prefer listening them after a performance with the band I usually play "I do not know a recorder could sound like that" or" what I this instrument ?" when they discover the Bass recorder. @@CapeTownrecorder
Yes it is true an alto about 300 euros (pearwood baroque Mollenhauer or Moeck) and above 1200 euros in boxwood or more sounding wood, handmade by an instrument factor.

Bravo 🌟
I see you have 999 subscribers. I make 1K subs of it now :)
I LOVE IT.
he plays blind. he nearly never looks to the strings. That what she plays must be in thsi case a Tenor-Recorder, sometimes for Alt to deep.
Really can it get any better!🙏🙏🙏
NO WORDS!!!!!!!!!
😳👏
A seemingly simple instrument, but in the hands of a master musician capable of great emotional and expressive music making. I hope Lucie Horsch will come to the UK at some time, I'd love to hear her live, she would sound great in the Wigmore Hall!
You're the simple one. So tiresome hearing ignorant morons sneer at recorders. Not a simple instrument, not something for children.
@@alexandermackay-smith2364 Please re-read my post, I feel you have got the wrong end of the stick!
Zo mooi!!
Bravissimi!👏👏❣
L ’harmonie s’exprime quel art l un s’exprime et l’autre fusionne
Just found Lucie's latest album while studying. I love it! Puts such a smile on my face hearing this seemingly simple instrument played so masterfully.
Exquisite! Thank you.
Thomas Dunford doesn't bother to look at either fretboard or picking hand, just to make the rest of us feel inadequate.
For my money, he's the star in this performance.
Tijd voor een reünie; tien jaar later...! Onvoorstelbaar dat jullie dit toen zo speelden!
