Low Drag Lifestyle
Добавлен 27 авг 2021
I love to travel. I'm a digital nomad, travelling the world and working online. I think that the best way to grow as a person is to grow your knowledge and understanding of the world.
I also think it's important to take an active role in designing the lives that we want to lead. Not to take the hand that's dealt you in life and just go with that. Instead, to choose what you want to do with your life and go get it. That's why I talk about lifestyle design, finance, minimalism, and designing a life that doesn't slow you down!
If any of that sounds good to you I'd love to get to know you! Leave a comment on one of my videos introducing yourself and I'll see you there!

BUDGET Villa TOUR in Malaysia with a unique bathroom | Digital Nomad apartment tour | Air BnB tour
If you're a digital nomad or maybe just traveling in South East Asia then Malaysia is surely on your list. Today I'm at a budget villa right on the beach of Langkawi island with a pretty unique bathroom! I'm a digital nomad, traveling the world and working remotely online. Here I talk about wifi, taxis, the pool, the sea and the weather. With a similar climate to Thailand and Bali, Malaysia is often overlooked by travelers. But with cheap food and great beaches, maybe we should take another look! Next week I'll be in Kuala Lumpur, then the UK, the moving on to Greece in a few weeks time.
Rent here was $370 USD for 2 weeks if you're interested!
Worried you'll have slow wifi when you arrive s...

MATADOR FREEFLY 16 | LONG TERM REVIEW | The Best Packable daypack? | Waterproof?
Просмотров 7 тыс.3 года назад
The Matador Freefly 16 is not fully waterproof but IS maybe the best packable daypack on the market. It's not been replaced by the Advanced Series Backpack, but you'll find this model around for a long time to come! It's weather proof and sealed and has great breathable straps. Packable backpacks and minimalist, one bag travel, really do go hand in hand. This daypack will let you carry a couple...

KTX is Korea's high speed train. Similar to the Shinkansen bullet train in Japan or the TGV in France, this is one of the fastest trains in the world. I talk a little about the infrastructure in Korea, as well as the history of high speed rail around the world. If you like...

How TRAVEL can make YOU RICH! (Geoarbitrage / Location arbitrage )

FIRE, early retirement, and becoming a digital nomad are all times that we might start to think about geoarbitrage. But what is location arbitrage? Location independence means living wherever you want. Often this is done by working online and making money online. However many people do this through dividend investing in the stock market, or renting out houses or apartments in order to build a p...

Sounds like a fellow ADDer. :)
Great tips. My most free time was backpacking in Europe for 2 months. So mentally freeing.
The best review of this backpack! Thank you so much!
Great and honest review. Thank you!
An honest review finally!
Using the shower... to clean the shower. The Koreans thought of everything.
I am on the 4th stage but I feel that I have started to creep into the 5th stage, especially because I have lived somewhere else for a year before I came to where I am today. Thanks for the video, its informative
How are your students English at the end of the semester?
where are you and what are you doing these days? You haven't uploaded any video in two years! I miss your videos!! Plz come back!!!!!
Thanks for your comment, it's nice to know this channel was appreciated! We travelled full time for 2 years and visited twenty countries in that time including Germany Switzerland Japan Australia Canada Sweden Iceland Vietnam Thailand Italy France Turkey Hong Kong and a lot more! I might make an update video just to nicely cap off the channel. We've decided to stop traveling to work on our businesses. These days I'm focused in building my business which is a lot easier when I have a house with an office in it! We wanted to get a dog too and that's really difficult when you're travelling. We'll keep travelling but not full time anymore. Full time travel was the most exciting thing I've done in my life and I would encourage anyone who is able to to give it a go. You'll have incredible experiences and you won't regret it!
Thank you for this great and honest review ! It's 2 years old but perhaps you still can help me ;) I am hesitating between this bag and the AER Travel Pack 3. Did you tried it ? Because the cons you mentioned for the peak design are a problem for me (confort of the straps and the fact it's not a daypack when compressed). My main concern for the AER is that it's only 35L, I'm wondering if it's enough. Or do you have other alternatives ?
thanks for honest review 👍I was thinking about buying this one, but still weighing pros and cons 🤔
Very informative review. Now have you had any issues with the zipper eventually breaking down or coming apart? Eagerly waiting for your response. Thanks mate!
Great review honest and clear !
"Im just going to detain you" "you're not under arrest" Bishhhh... stop lying
I am currently considering this one for a slimmed down carry-on and daypack vs the Nya Evo 36C which I use on bigger aircraft and for long hikes. The Nya Evo has a fantastic hip strap and super padded straps, but it is about 8cm more bulky in depth than the PD which is now a problem as I have a trip coming up to northern norway on smaller aircraft... I won't be actually wearing the backpack for longer periods of time so the hip support and padded straps hopefully won't become an issue... I do need the bottle pockets, I have a Sigg 1.5L bottle and a 24 oz coffee mug with me at all times. so this backpack does sound like a good option. Thanks for your review!
Just picked one up on Facebook Market for $100!
I can imagine large areas for Samsung because Korea makes Samsung am I wrong?

Watching your video just before the interview 😄
Best, most honest review of this pack that I have seen. Thank you.
Love your videos. Thank you for honest advice. If you are thinking of gifting the bag I would love to ask. It is impossible to buy or order online “Peak Design” bags in the country where I’m living. Thank you. 👍👍👍
Where did this Chanel go
I like this video. My family is going to Europe and I need a backpack to pack my stuff in for the entire trip and this vid was super helpful.
3:14 its interesting your saying that because another girl said that the salary wasnt enough to save with because of current cost of living etc
This is by far the best video I have seen, you spoke about all the important things. Thank you.
That was a great honest review. Hope your channel finds more of its audience. It certainly deserves it.
Is this ur favorite or another brand for 45L?
Also intressted. Which 40-45liter travel backpack do you recommend?
Great review and insight. I love PD products and how so many of them are fantastic functionally and they look great! For me, the Traveler 45L fell short in one category: fitment-comfort. To be fair to PD, I’m a bigger guy. I have a broader shoulder, a bigger chest, and a mid-section (gut) than the average bear. Also, in fairness to PD, I read before I purchased that the strap comfort was a let a down for some. With all that being said, I gave the PD Traveler 45L a try because of its reputation, the ecosystem I already invested in, and its solid product lineup. Comfort was a real issue for me. I purposely loaded the 45L with a large camera cube and filled the cube with mirrorless camera equipment, minus my 70-200 and 150-600. It contained a few primes (105mm or less), no tripod, and no accessories other than what would fit in the large camera cube. I'm not exaggerating when I say this; the bag hurt my shoulders. The issue with the sternum strap is true. With weight in the bag, the strap pulls the shoulder straps in. I adjusted it up and down, alternating where they pinched between the neck and chest. I tried to alleviate this by using the hip belt. The hip belt was too short. The hip belt that is sold separately for other packs in their line-up has an overall length of 69" so I anticipated the 45L being somewhere in the ballpark of the same length. I was wrong. I needed 48-50" max, and I was short by about 6-8" in length. Because PD uses a non-standard buckle system, there was no chance of purchasing an extender. Again, in fairness to PD, I should have checked with them directly on length because sometimes, depending on the brand, I have found hip belts can be an issue for me. However, more often than not (98%), hip belts are long enough. The bottom line is that if you are a bigger person, the strap and belt system may not fit you well. This is a shame because the pack is a fantastic backpack overall. One of the reasons I chose it is its versatility, AND the bag doesn’t look like I am heading to Mt Everest wearing a mountaineering pack.
You are spot on with this review. I've been traveling with this pack since 2017 and I've come across the same issues with the sternum strap. The shoulder strap and hip padding should be a bit more spongy. It's not uncomfortable but it's not truly comfortable. I've never used the "30L snap" feature. I do love the security features. I've learned to under-pack it and it feels great. I don't have to carry laptop or camera equipment otherwise this would be burdensome. I'm keeping it and will only replace if the Holy Grail Travel Backpack present itself.
I've ordered this bagpack, would you advise to cancel the order and get for exemple the The Travel Backpack ? From Pakt ?
China is paying average 3200-4800USD per month for a regular teaching job... due to a foreign teacher shortage
Love your energy ❤
It is too heavy. Add one dumbell into it if u get high from weights.
Loved this review. Decided against the backpack. It reminds me of a kid in my 2nd grade class that had a fancy new calculator watch. It would give you the barometric pressure in Japan but it sucked at telling TIME. A backpack should, first and foremost, be a backpack. You should be RAVING about the comfort and build quality of the straps. This bag comes down to a poorly designed suitcase.
Pro tip gaet shoulder pads I did for mine made the straps 10x better
"It's a little sad" *plays the most uplifting, adorable song in the background* gotta love timing
I’ve been eyeing the smaller 30L of this backpack but it comes with a small quick access pocket that’s like a deal breaker for myself. The Cotopaxi 28L/35L is also a great backpack but it doesn’t have a water bottle holder which is also a deal breaker for myself.
If youre teaching 22 hours a week, and desk warming the rest. Do you get paid for the desk warming too?
Yes. You're salaried so you get 1/12 of your annual salary every month regardless of how much you work. Plus overtime.
Any backpack that is fully loaded is going to feel heavy no matter how much padding there is. That’s what the hip and sternum straps are for, to take the weight off of your shoulders. I’m glad Peak Design didn’t over pad the straps. They’re just the size they need to be and they tuck away nicely.
Lol
Which 40-45liter travel backpack do you recommend?
@@TomasKallstrom the peak design travel backpack
So what did you do for the 40 lesson plans that needed to be done in 20 Minutes?
Hotel wifitest no longer is appearing- thru google anyway
Very dope video, my guy! Wish you well on your life progression as well. I've been going on two times now, and I've fallen in love with how safe it feels as well as with the culture and food thus far. I've thought about teaching, as I've obtained my TEFL, but I'm still unsure because I have a lot going on in the States. This is helping me explore it more though so cheers to you man!
After the three years does it mean you have to leave? or did you leave because there is no progression/bonuses if you decide to stay longer?
Hi. Replying from my other channel. No, I didn't need to leave. I left for new opportunities and just generally to progress in life. Nothing to do with Korea really. There are lots of people who have spent many more years in Korea than me.
Thank you for your informative video and sharing your experience ❤.
Thanks for the review. Regarding pickpockets, is this pack able to be secured or locked to prevent theft? This is my concern for travelling in Europe.
I own this bag and yeah it is. Get those zippers under the security loop, interlock the hypalon zipper pulls. I've even put on the rain fly for an extra layer of difficulty for would-be thieves.
