Hi! Some buddys ask me for a video of how I used the weathering pencils on my latest model (F-18, avalible on FB & Instagram), wich I weathered only with pencils and no oils at all. In the video you can find different basic techniques of weathering with pencils. I hope you find it helpful!

Spot on F-5A. Love this family of aircraft. I saw that the assembly was simple, probably wiht not much filler needed. Is htis right? Did you find complicated areas to assemble?

How do you get the stay to actually stay in place, since you've painted both it and the cockpit tub, everytime I've tried that, it doesn't stay in place. So what's your secret?
Excelente trabajo y me encanta el remachado. Siempre queda mucho más bonito el representar el remachado. ¿Dónde puedo conseguir los planos para hacerlo? Tengo el mismo modelo y hoy me ha llegado el RF-5A, también de Kinetic. Todo avión que pueda hacerse español, lo compro. Muy buen trabajo y a seguir, que te ha quedado fabuloso.
Me uno a la consulta, no he encontrado planos de remaches de este avión especialmente

What is the technique you use between 8:40-9:00 called? Is it to make panel lines look darker naturally? I have a few planes i would like to paint but I am new to painting.
HI!! sorry for not answer earlier... That is called "marbling", is a preshading technique that allow the the panels some volume and leave a darker color on panel lines. You achieve a more realistic finish from a very early point of the painting process ;)

Did you paint the cockpit green, after you applied the white bias?
I've done some research and this was an experimental 2 seat version ,of which only 1 unit was made. The usaf considered a trainer version but cancelled their interest

¿Me lo parece a mí? o ¿duplican/neutralizan efectos? Se ven útiles pero mejor empleados que en este ejemplo.
Hola, no entiendo el menosprecio. En el vídeo se prepara con pintura la superficie con unos efectos concretos, y con los lápices se dan otros diferentes. Y bueno, mejor o peor, el objetivo del video es animar a usar los lápices mostrando técnicas básicas, de ahí ya cada uno hace ensayo-error, y ve hasta dónde llega. Un saludo.
@@crvscalemodels lo que yo no entiendo es esta falta de aceptación hacia una critica, eso no es un menosprecio. Eso seria calificar este video como una mierda, (no lo es). Que lo hayas planteado de forma contradictoria es una cosa, menospreciarlo otra. Lo que sí teneis, en común, todos los que publicáis en las redes sociales es una piel muy fina. Algunos (no tú, que se sepa) llegan al histrionismo, supongo que lo provoca exceso de "me gusta" y los comentarios aduladores. Otro saludo.
Nada más lejos, siempre acepto consejo, y más contando con el poco tiempo que llevo en esto. Entender mal tu comentario pudo provocar esa respuesta, la cual parece que tampoco has entendido bien viendo tu último comentario. Enorahueba!Te ha quedado fenomenal. Ahora mismo estoy montando la variante c del A-10 de hobbyboss, que supongo que mas alla de ser monoplaza sera muy parecido a este, dicho esto, te pregunto: tuviste que rellenar muchos huecos con masilla?, Tengo entendido que sobretodo las alas son problematicas con el A-10 de hobbyboss
Buenas, perdona la tardanza. Lo primero gracias! y a tu pregunta, yo hice este y la versión A, y en ambos lo mas problemático que recuerdo fue el encaje de los alerones con las alas, había que tener ojo con el montaje y el alineamiento de las piezas. Y nada más que reseñar, así que recuerde ahora, todo lo demás se monta bien. Un saludo! :)

Western front fighters (Reich defense) were not that much weathered... confusion is caused by 80% of pictures made by US photographers of abandoned planes... On the other side, their average life span (from mid 1944.) was not that long to become weathered... as they were flown mostly by young kids barely trained to take off and land - against wast numerical superiority of allied fighters... In fact, Luftwaffe was receiving brand new planes in surprising numbers, but they had lack of experienced fighter-pilots and lack of natural fuel.

unas cuantas horas, si no al día siguiente, al estar sobre barniz brillo no hay problema, y me aseguro que está bien seco para no llevarme nada de los recobecos que quiero marcar

I don't have so much free time, and I enjoy so much to modelling, without camera, my way, and the worst issue is video edit, can't stand that... but for sure I will upload more videos. To many streaks and to silvery. The whole aircraft needed to be just a little darker. That's just what I would do but hell I'm an idiot. LOL Freaking awesome job man! One of my favorite model builds I've seen on RUclips so far. Gonna try some of your techniques.
