Here's some questions that I use in any evangelical endeavour irrespective of people's religious or non-religious korero. It works really well with 'p' heads who think that they have arrived intellectually. "What is a belief, how do I have one, and how can I be sure that I am right?" I asked some of the youth at our son's church here in Sydney recently. Not only could none of them answer these questions, but they didn't know anyone that might either. Faith, must be rooted in a set of beliefs. It must have historical precedent. This korero began after they asked me to explain Modernity to them. So, Modernity is having a belief that you can't explain. These three questions are imperative. Nga mihi.

Amen. Hallelujah. Wow i had this on my heart today. I haven't posted much on Facebook lately but i felt i needed to share my story, even the ugliness that i was embarrassed to share about myself but i had it on my heart to share because there are many out there that are going through what i went through and felt they may needed to read it so that they can see that there is a way out of it and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. I use to be so embarrassed to let out my testimony because i wasn't a good person but since i got baptised and i've been forgiven and washed clean of my sins, i can now turn my story into a blessing for someone else. Im still learning but my faith has been restored and my eyes are on Jesus and i serve choose to serve God.

I often times see Christians using this passage as a license to judge others to Hell. The character of God revealed through Christ emboddies perfection in Judgement and in Mercy. God uses the Law as a mirror to Judge our behaviors and attitudes, but withholds the punishment since Christ paid it for us on the Cross. We are called to do the same. Hold up a mirror to the Sin and Mistakes, but withhold condemnation and show mercy in the same manner that God showed mercy to us. Great advice for Parents, Managers, Pastors and anyone in a position of power over their Sheep.
