ripppp I just saw the inconsistency. the car is long gone but it was 2.25" piping up to the muffler. it then stepped up to 2.5" at the entrance to the muffler, since the inlet of the muffler is 2.5" I did this before borla made their own bolt on system, which is available here: www.borla.com/products/ford-focus-cat-back-exhaust-system-140400 note, it's also 2.25".

@@Rw.M240 lol okay. I did a 12.7 12.9 and 13.1 the same night. I wish I had my time slip my 60 ft was pretty damn good on the 12.7 perfect launch did it.

@@MichaelDouglas-24eh a stock sti can do 13.1 with a good driver. A tune should get you those couple split seconds. Intake is useless until you get to 450+ hp.

That is because the stock turbo is tiny and can't maintain those high levels of boost so it tapers off. It's pretty normal for small turbo cars to spike high and then taper back down to their efficiency zone.

Most definitely, the Focus RS loves to be shifted early and you can get boost in every gear if done properly.

When the Camaro traps 133mph it doesn’t matter what model it is, cause that’s about 15mph faster than a SS would trap stock. So it’s got mods. Even a zl1 1le doesn’t trap that fast.

yeah my recommendation is to go to the softest setting on the rear bar, it might not need any more adjustments after that. as for turn 2, it took some practice to stay far left, but once i turned in i would pin the throttle in third, up shift to 4th at the entrance of turn 4 and stay wot until the kink of turn 6.

haha yeah the new sway bars were set to soft front and stiff rear.... going to softer in the rear for the next event

you can make it sound exactly like this, 2012-2018 are the same exhaust wise

There's plenty to do to make it a lot less slow. Just depends on what kind of work you're willing to put in it... And of course, how much money you're willing to spend.

I also own a 17 Focus ST stage 3 as well and I agree. They’re not fast but they are quick. Sucks how a stage 2 GTI is faster than a stage 3 ST

@@jaushuacastillo4458 Not at all true. You must not have good quality modifications because my 16 stage 3 st gaps things that it definitely shouldn’t. It’s also dependent on how you race. Doing second gear pulls is practically useless. 3rd gear is where the power comes on hard and stays to the ground. Brake boosting a little bit also helps when you’re racing against any naturally aspirated v6/v8. Gapped a nismo 370z and a slightly modified 5th gen camaro ss. Also slightly pulled on a 2020 Mustang 5.0. I’d say that’s pretty damn good for a little 4 cylinder shit box. Gotta know where your power band is. It’s also smart to do the little turbo actuator mod. That keeps the turbo in nearly full boost till redline.

@@alexpinon7828 oh ok , I assume the actuator would work well with the GF DV+ I have installed. And the mods I have are AWE track edition exhaust, Depo catless DP, Cobb Cai , Depo 5.5” Intercooler , velossatech ram intake , RMM. And I’m running a stratified stage 3 tune for 93

@@jaushuacastillo4458 My mods list are Green filter, boomba rear motor mount, stage 2 catch can routed out of a radium oil baffle plate, mishimoto fmic, stock downpipe with the cat punched out, resonator and muffler delete (stock diameter exhaust), turbosmart bov, and stage 3 stratified tune that has been revised 2 or 3 times now

@@alexpinon7828 nice nice , I’d definitely benefit if I got a protune , my tune is just basically a Stratified OTS tune , definitely feels better than the Cobb ots tunes , those felt sloppy. I eventually wanna bolt up a GTX2867R
