Inormative and fun to watch

I NEED Jeff and Annie to get together!! I want a jeff so bad ( yes i know hes flawed, but my god is he dreamy)!! My heart was ripped out when they ended without being together!! How can i be so invested in fictional characters!!?? Maybe because i see so much of myself in annie and i want a jeff. ❤😢

After reading all the one star reviews on the KINDLE version of the book. Decided to come to RUclips to search for more. Thank you for you in depth analysis of this book. I'll have to look for a print version as I would appear that the KINDLE format will probably be nothing more than a PDF that got ran through a KINDLE reformat process. Best wishes for 2024 :)

As with a lot of TV or movie adaptions from books certain things are changed- be it locations, characters, or the intent of certain lines can even become distorted or interpreted differently. So, here is my attempt to explain more in depth Netflix's limited series Obsession particularly the characters, their background, and the details that the novel (Damage by Josephine Hart) gives us that the TV adaption simply felt it did not have time for or it was deemed unimportant. 😅😇 What are your thoughts? Was anything answered for you that you were curious about? Did some of the book insights change your view on a character?

I really enjoyed making this video as Community is one of my favorite shows (possibly my number 1), but oh boy did I have some trouble getting the edited so it wasn't flagged or something. Concerning Jeff and Annie's relationship, in my research I remember reading somewhere that although Joel McHale and Alison Brie had amazing chemistry and it seemed like a good move to make them a couple, Dan Harmon decided not to as he didn't want it to appear as "some old man fantasy" of his. That's a real bummer as I'm a firm believer in sometimes the characters tell you where they want to go, y'know? (All within good taste and reason, of course.) In the end, Dan Harmon stated concerning the finale, "he's (Jeff) genuinely in love with her, but that's a separate thing from whether that's actually good for her." He also mentioned that by the end of the series he wanted to make it a focal point on how they were now at least on the same emotional level.

This book impacted me in a very unique way- I did not not like either of the main characters, but the point of the novel as well as essentially the Netflix series is stated wonderfully by Josephine Hart, herself, "To me, Damage, is like Sin. A form of confession without the desire for repentance. That, I was convinced was the moral fulcrum of the book." She then continues on that That is the reason she believes why those who read it are so disturbed by the novel. In which, I agree, this book did in fact disturb me as I came into reading it without first seeing the Netflix series or any real summary. Anyways, I can ramble on (and would love to do so in the comments)😇. I hope you enjoy(ed) this compilation of scenes from the limited series put together with quotes (mostly) from the book itself. I am broken so I bought the book. It’s full info but I am a little confused on how I will use it with my issue. I also don’t like that there are “products” for sale as a kit with the book. I liked that there is an emphasis on load training but was a bit stymied when he went back and forth on increasing load sounding like it’s for muscle heads then came back to it after a deload. Hidden tip or at least what makes sense is to learn your non muscle tissue response during training and avoid injury. Supplements to solve for this? Nah, not 4 me. Dare I challenge the use of a synthesized protein to improve my health on a woke social app but please do your own research on Collagen Synthesis errors. Read the actual NIH studies and not the ads.

Enjoyed!! I joined my local CP when they opened 4 weeks ago! I am really LOVING it. I am old...LOL, but familiar with the terms, although not on a reformer. That has taken a bit to get used to, and I will probably stay in the lower classes for the rest of my life. Thanks!❤
